Extreme pure gold anal beads by Cal Exotics - review by BSJ

This string of glittery golden goodness has one purpose and that is to go up your butt to give you all kinds of pleasurable sensations. They say Extreme in the name, but these beads aren't any more intense than sticking your thumb up your butt. Even for the people who are new to anal play, the graduated sizes of the beads allow you to play up to your comfort level and to go further only when you are ready to do so.

These beads are made of phthalate free PVC which is non-toxic, but the product has a super strong chemical odor to it. Being that these are anal beads and are designed to go up your ass, I don't think much thought goes into the way it smells, which is unfortunate because it really discourages me from wanting to purchase any other toys made of the same material.

The beads are solid and don't have much give to them. The thinner areas that string the beads together make them pliable, yet stiff enough to make insertion a simple process. Unlike with beads that use string, these do not require to push in each individual bead at a time. With enough lube, all it takes is a gentle push and the beads slide in very smoothly.

There are no strange manufacturing side effects to make the beads uncomfortable at all. They glide in and out with ease and the smooth texture makes them quite comfortable. I only wish that they came in a larger size.

The size of these beads is definitely intended for the people who are just getting into anal play and wanting to try a few new things. Being over ten inches long sounds intimidating but it isn't that intense. The smaller beads allow for complete insertion without stretching the inside of your ass. It will feel a bit a strange having something that deep inside for the first time but it won't be an unbearable "OMFG GET IT OUT.. . GET IT THE FUCK OUT!" kind of thing. It will be more of a an "Ooohh" and "Aaahhh" kind of sensation.

The shape is great for testing your anal limits when first starting out. You can do a couple at a time or the whole thing. You won't be doing anything overly dangerous with a set of beads of this size. Use plenty of lube, relax and enjoy stepping into a new world of sexual bliss like no other.

Retrieving the beads is super easy with the attached ring on the end. Simply grasp it however you like and pull. If you find it difficult then stop clinching your butthole and relax. Clinching down on something that is in your butt is really counterproductive to getting it out.

Some of the highlights of using these beads is they are super smooth and very comfortable to use. I actually left them in for a little while and had no issues at all. They did slide in a little further than expected but the recovery ring stayed out of my ass which allowed for easy removal.

All in all this is a nicely constructed set of anal beads but I would like to see them in a larger size. These little guys didn't pack much of a wow factor but the length of them did hit a few nice places deep inside.

The only other thing that I dislike is the PVC. If these were made of silicone it would be great. Anything that is non-porous and non-toxic would be awesome, as long as it doesn't smell like an oil refinery when you open the packaging.

Cleaning the beads is as simple as using soap and water. Be sure to rinse them thoroughly because blowing bubbles out of your ass is a real mood killer. I would keep this particular toy wrapped up and sealed in several plastic bags to keep the odor of the PVC from filling up whatever storage space is used for stashing your toys.

The one positive thing about PVC is that you can use silicone lubes if you wish. Unlike some other materials, the silicone will not harm the PVC.
