One narrow bumpy ride coming right up

Overall this is a decent toy, albeit not quite my cup of tea. If you're looking for texture but not something too large this is the toy for you. It's fairly easy to clean and is sterilizable. There are better toys out there for straight prostate stimulation (see personal comments) but for the price, it's an option worth considering.

Use

The silicone prostate probe is categorized as a prostate massager for men, but as its name more accurately describes, it more of a probe or dildo than a prostate massager. Yes it stimulates the prostate but it definitely does not fit the normal design or role of a prostate massager. So with that in mind, what is this toy useful for? Well I would say the biggest would be those that are in to a little BDSM. Nothing too major but the bumps sticking out on this toy are not for anal beginners. For this reason it might be good for those who either really like texture heavy toys or for those who like to get a little rough. The silicone is flexible enough that it could be used externally for swatting someones butt. Since this toy is made out of silicone, it also can be used for temperature play in which the toy is either heated up or cooled down for additional stimulation. While there may be better solutions for travel, it's small size makes a good candidate for travel although it's definitely not the most discreet design either.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of black silicone that isn't hard and isn't soft. Due to its small diameter, it's fairly flexible although not so much so that it's hard to insert. The silicone has no smell or taste to it. As mentioned above, there are bumps that go down the sides of the toy that you will like or hate. There is also a seam that runs down both sides of the toy although this was not felt during use (likely due to the fact the bumps over power any such feeling.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is fairly small in diameter although it has a decent insertable length of around 5". If not for the bumps on it, this might be a good choice for beginners. It's fairly easy to hold in ones hand and should be easy for a partner to use on another as well. A finger can be inserted in the ring at the bottom for additional control. Overall this seems like a pretty good design overall. I'm not a huge fan of texture but have been trying to get into a bit more. Buyers just need to be aware of the texture and plan accordingly.

Performance

I like that this toy is easy to handle. It's small in size but provides a good deal of stimulation. It does tend to get uncomfortable for me after extended use but it does stimulate the prostate quite nicely. It seems to hold lube fairly well and I don't have any major complaints about it other than it not really being my type of toy.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is one of the easier materials to care for. A simple wash in soap and water will suffice for individual use. One note, due to the ridges and bumps, it does tend to collect stuff in the crevices. A hand towel easily removes this though, just a weee bit harder than a smooth silicone toy. For those sharing, sterilizing is possible by either soaking in a water/bleach solution or boiling in water. Silicone toys should not be stored touching one another as this can lead to degradation for some formulas. Silicone lube should also be avoided. Otherwise silicone toys are a great choice for minimal care requirements.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

I found it amusing that the packaging for this toy and several others that I've gotten recently have said for external use only. Ummmm....... I guess they're trying to avoid any lawsuits. Anyways, the packaging isn't bad a bit more bulky than necessary but not bad. The packaging can be reused for storage and the paper insert can be removed to make it a little bit more discreet but the clear plastic won't hide what this toys all about. The packaging has no information on how to use the toy.

Personal comments

I found the bumps a bit too rough for me. If you're just looking for prostate stimulation then the products listed below might be better for you:
g-force
pure wand
aneros progasm

Great review. I would think it would have a curve or something instead of being straight.

Nice review. I actually wishlisted this, not for anal play, but for the other hole! Ha. Ha. It looked fun for that purpose in my opinion, but probably not the best sensations ever.

I'm curious, you added a glass toy to the "similar products" section. How does this compare to that glass toy, in what ways? I mean, if it's a similar product they must feel similar, is that correct? Sorry, just curious since I have both that glass one and this on my wishlist.

Well, thanks so much for sharing! It was a pleasure to read.

@kendra30752, I agree the glass toy is definitely different but they both have some texture to them. I much prefer that glass toy though as glass is much smoother than silicone and the bumps aren't as high on it but it still has a fair amount of texture to it. I'm sure there are other products that this is similar to but I don't of them.
