Juice - butt plug discontinued by Tantus - review by TJtheMadHatter

This plug is fabulous for long term wear. For some of us who wear plugs for a long period of time, it's inevitable that we develop gas. It's a bodily function we all do it. When wearing a plug, passing gas can be difficult and holding it in can be painful. No longer do we have to go through that, with the Juice. The texture lines on the bulb allows gas to pass through when you wiggle your hips, back and forth. Yay!

If you're not all that concerned if you can pass gas or not, just know that this plug's texture is extremely pleasurable. All you have to do is clamp down every so often and you're very aware of each delicious line on the plug.You can wear anywhere you want, doing what ever you want. It's all up to you. The plug's shape and size, makes it great to use for double penetration.

DO NOT USE WITH SILICONE LUBE!!! IT MAY DAMAGE THE TOY!!! If you insist on using silicone lube, be sure to spot test where it's not insertable.

The Juice is made up of Tantus' 100% platinum silicone. It's a fantastic material that rates a 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. It is non-porous, non-toxic, phthalates-free, hypoallergenic, and completely sterilizable. When I first took Juice of its packaging, it had a plastic sent to it. I tried using soap and water, boiling, bleach (10% solution), and baking soda, but it still has a slight scent. I have the Neo, and it had the same issues. It's dissipating, but still present. I did do a flame test on it, and it passed.

The Juice has some flex to it's head. Just enough to allow the plug to move with my body, and not be painful. The neck is very flexible which is great for long term wear. The base is what really blows me away. It's flexible when flexed inward, but not when flexed outward. It stays in place, with no risk of falling into the abyss. It allows me to move with ease and not have to be reaching into the back of my pants to try and adjust it.

The texture on the Juice is a little intimidating. There are eight lines that run from near the tip to close to the neck. The length of each one is 3". They aren't carved out of the silicone, but are gradually molded. They are narrow near the tip of Juice and near the neck. In the middle of the lines is 1/4". These lines are very pleasurable, and allow for gas to be able to pass by. Something that is great for long term wearers. Tantus does have its logo on the bottom front of the base, but it's unnoticeable when in use.

The design of the head of Juice is reminiscent of a hand juicer. The narrow tip is great for positioning and inserting this fun plug. It widens to a reasonable girth, and then narrows back down to the neck. The texture is what really stands out about this plug. The ridges are comfortable to wearing, and when you clench down it's extremely pleasurable. I don't know if this was Tantus' intent, but they also allow gas to pass when in use. They're wide enough that they aren't difficult to clean, and there are no seams. So it makes for every easy insertion. The neck is a comfortable diameter and the neck is flexible enough that it allows for all kinds of movements. The size of the Juice is great for all players. It's not too much for a beginner, and the size is still relevant for more advanced players.

The base on the Juice is a real gem. It's narrow enough so that it can be worn without irritating the skin around the anus. It's long enough to keep it from be lost. It's minimal, but extremely functional. Something that is great and highly desirable in a plug.

I personally am not a fan of texture for anal toys. The Juice has changed all of that. Whenever I get a sterilizable toy, I wash and boil it immediately. When it was time to give this baby a go, I had to psych myself up. The ridges made me a little nervous. I got past it and lubed Juice up with some Maximus water-based lube. It slid in with little to no problem. When walking I was reminded that I was wearing a plug, not by the fact I had a neck and base sticking out of me, but by the texture along the bulb. It stimulated me in a way no other plug has. Then after wearing it for over an hour, I got hit with gas. I was a little nervous, as I always am when I'm wearing a plug with gas. I found if I swayed my hips side to side, my gas was able to pass! I know it sounds gross, but we all do it. No need to be ashamed or blush while reading this. It's a fact and now you know that this one works well for it.

One of the greatest things about silicone, besides being body safe, is that it's completely sterilizable. You can clean it with soap or toy cleaner and water. There are options when it comes to sterilizing. You can boil it for 3-5 minutes, soak it in a 10% bleach solution, or run it in the dishwasher. I personally boil and use bleach.

Storing this toy is super easy. Since the Tantus packaging can be a hassle to open and close every time, all you need to do is put it in a sandwich baggie. I personally keep all of my plugs in Ziploc baggies, in a plastic storage box.

The Juice comes in Tantus' standard packaging. It's clear and orange in the front. You can see the toy immediately. The back is opaque and orange, with Tantus' mission statement and information saying how great silicone is. The toy is held in place by a plastic positioner. The packaging can be difficult to use for storage, so if you don't like it, you can throw it in with the recycling.
