The Game Changer

The Neo is fabulous for any and all players. The tip allows you to comfortably insert it regardless of when you last partook in anal play. The base makes for fantastic long term wear. The shape of the bulb allows it to be used with other toys. Which makes it great for size queens that don't really enjoy slimmer toys vaginally.

Use

Haven't had anal play in a while? No problem, Neo will take care of that. The narrow tip and modest body size, allows for all players to enjoy this plug. You can use this plug to test the waters with anal play without feeling to overwhelmed, or you can use it to warm up for larger toys. You can wear it for a quick session, for running errands, around the house, with other toys, or just perk up your work day. Since it's safely in your body and with its comfortable base, where you want to wear it is up to you. Just be sure to lube the neck of the Neo with water-based lube, so that it will move with your body. Whenever I haven't had anal play in awhile, the Neo allows me to get back into the game without having to do the pain dance.

DO NOT USE WITH SILICONE LUBE!!! IT MAY DAMAGE THE TOY!!! If you insist on using silicone lube, makes sure to spot test where it isn't insertable.

Material / Texture

Neo is made from Tantus' 100% ultra-premium platinum silicone. It's a fabulous material that rates a 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. It is non-porous, non-toxic, phthalates-free, and hypoallergenic. It doesn't have any taste, but it did have a slight plastic smell to it. It was strongest when I first pulled it out of the package. I boiled it, bleached it (10% solution), used a baking soda paste, and it still had a light smell. I did a flame test on it, and it passed. After one use, I bleached it and laid it out for an hour to air out. It no longer has any smell to it.

The Neo has some flex to it. The bulb does bend a little bit, with some force. The neck is a medium when bending it, and the base is very flexible when you bend it upwards. When you bend it down, it's strong towards the neck. This works great for long term wear, as it keeps it safely in place, but the tips of the base move with your body effortlessly. There is very little squish when it come to the Neo. Just enough that it isn't painful.

The matte finish is simply dreamy. It doesn't collect any lint or hair. It's velvety to the touch and lube stays in place pretty well. The purple is really eye catching, and is my first bright colored toy from Tantus.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design of Neo. The small tip is fantastic if you've gone without anal play for long periods of time or have never tried anal at all. The tip allows you to pinpoint your attack, and slide it in gently. I know with more blunt tipped plugs, like Tantus' Ryder, you need to use more force to get past your sphincter. Which can be painful, and whether or not you continue, you're doing the pain dance. With the Neo, it allows your sphincter to open gradually, and safely. After you reach the widest part of the plug, it narrows just as smoothly as it did towards the tip. The base is a nice size, as it allows you to wear it comfortably, and snugly. The base doesn't look like much, but it really does the job. When I first saw it, I had my reservations. I thought it wouldn't keep it from being lost inside me. Boy, was I wrong. When you flex the two tips inward, they bend easily, but if you flex them out, the majority doesn't move. Phew! What a relief. On the outside of the very base, Tantus has etched their logo. It doesn't require a tooth brush, as it is a thicker font. Also, it doesn't not irritate your butt when in use. I think this plug is a must for all players. Even if you don't like smaller plugs, it's safe to have a small plug to get you started if it has been awhile for anal play.

Performance

This toy performs exceptionally well for what I had in mind. I wanted a plug that I could pick up regardless of how often I partake in anal play. This toy is great for that. I wear plugs from thirty minutes to several hours, and when I saw the base of the Neo, I had to have it. The minimal base allows me to be comfortable regardless of my position or stance. I do housework, drive, curl up on the couch, all comfortably. I've found with other plugs that I have to constantly check the base to make sure it's positioned right. When I wear the Neo I don't really have to check it at all. This toy is made to move with your body. It also works well with other toys. The tapering tip, allows dildos to be used vaginally, without trying to pull the plug out. I'm a bit of a size queen when it comes to dildos, and this plug allows me to enjoy slimmer toys that usually make me yawn. Which is a huge plus for any toy collector!

Care and Maintenance

I love sterilizable toys because of how easy they are to clean and sterilize. To clean you can use soap or toy cleaner and water. Sterilization is a breeze with silicone. You have several options; you can boil it for 3-5 minutes, soak it in a 10% bleach solution, or just toss it in the dishwasher. I personally boil and bleach. As I said before there was a slight smell to it, and I did use a baking soda paste (it's not really a paste but more of a wet covering). It works very well. Silicone can sometimes retain smells, but they do dissipate. I freak out every time thinking it won't go away, but airing it out for an hour is a sure thing.

Storing this lovely purple plug is ridiculously easy. The packaging is very cumbersome for storage, but the best way to do it is with a simple sandwich baggie. It keeps it clean and sterilized when put away. I keep all of my silicone plugs this way, and together in a plastic box.

Packaging

The Neo comes in Tantus' standard plastic packaging, It's clear and orange on the front, opaque and orange on the back. On the back it has Tantus' mission statement and information about the fabulousness of silicone. The three tab top, makes it a bit of a pain to open and close. The toy is held in place by a plastic clam shell. If you find that packaging to be too much of a hassle, you can slip Neo in a plastic baggie for storage and chuck the packaging in the recycling bin.
