Neo - advanced butt plug discontinued by Tantus - review by KrissyNovacaine

Neo is a very nice intermediate sized anal plug from Tantus. It's a bit larger than what I would give to a beginner to anal play. That being said, it is a great toy for working up or warming up to larger sizes.

This is designed with anal play in mind, but if it suits you, it could also be used vaginally. I won't promise you that it will hit your g-spot, but it will stimulate the vaginal opening.

This lacks an kind of curve, so it may not stimulate those that have prostates as well as other kinds of toys.

In my experience, Tantus toys are normally made of a very firm silicone, so I was surprised that this was as soft and plush as it was. It is almost as soft as my VIP Super Soft and is similar to the softer coat of Tantus' dual density line. The silicone that Neo is made from is also matte like the O2 line. It has a velvety texture that has a small amount of drag. This disappears with some lube.

Neo has no other textures which I think makes him perfect for newer users working up to larger sizes. That being said, he is still a lot of fun for more advanced users.

Tantus always uses a high quality silicone that doesn't have a smell or taste. It also never retains any.

The Neo has an amazingly simple design that works wonderfully. The slim rip isn't pointed, but still inserts easily. The body of the plug is one gentle curve that inserts easily. The neck is defined and long enough to be comfortable for longer wear. The base is curved to for easily between the cheeks without causing any kind of discomfort. Tantus got everything right with this toy.

The dimensions put this toy in the intermediate category for me. Neo is about 4.5" in circumference and 4.75" long with 4" of that being insertable. He is about average sized, but still a size that would have been impossible for me as my first toy.

He is not terribly large when it comes to travel. You can easily tuck him into a purse or over night bag.

Neo has become my new basic plug. He is the perfect size for me. I consider him an easy intermediate toy. I actually wish that I had gotten him when I was working on getting up to 4" circumferences. His shape is perfect for taking it slow and getting used to the size.

Since I don't need to work up to him, he is now my new favorite warm up toy. I also adore him for longer wear because his slim base is very comfortable.

The Neo isn't made with a suction cup, nor is he suited for use with a harness.

Silicone can only be used with water based lubricants and needs to be stored away from other toys. I can sew, so I made a little bag for this, but you can also purchase one or keep it in the original packaging.

As for cleaning this, the toy itself doesn't have any deep crevices that make it hard to clean. I use a toy cleaner and warm water, but this can also be cleaned with soap and water, boiling it, throwing it in the top rack of the dishwasher, or wiping it with a 10% bleach solution.

Tantus packages their products in a clear box that you can see the you through. There is information about silicone and care on it, but it is. When I got my first Tantus toy, I thought the packaging was modern and stylish, but after purchasing a lot more higher end toys, I honestly feel that Tantus' packaging is a bit skimpy. Just my feeling though.
