Neo - butt plug by Tantus - review by R.

Reading other reviews, this toy was marketed as for "beginners." Now I've been playing with butt plugs for a while, and this is NOT the one to start out with for a first-timer. Luckily, I've been looking for a larger toy for intermediate play, and the one looked just right for me to step up to.

Tantus is my favorite company for adult toys, as they make toys for actual use, as opposed to just for novelty. They have the human body in mind, and create toys that are both ergonomic, and safe for the body. This 100% silicone toy is medical-grade safe, and can be boiled to ensure sanitation.

The toy comes in a see-through plastic box, which is exciting to open up. Upon holding the toy in hand for the first time, what is so striking about it is its finish. It's not just smooth, it's truly velvety--soft, and almost skin like. Besides being fantastically smooth to touch, this texture also holds lube very well, which is vital.

For my first use, it took me twenty minutes in the shower to get it in. I tried it on its own first, but couldn't get it all the way in. I continued to reapply a water based jelly, but I just couldn't stretch large enough to get it in. So, to warm up, I used my Radiant Gems Anal Tool to warm up. I had to go to the largest ball on this toy (which I usually can't do) in order to stretch myself large enough to then switch over to the Neo. The Neo's diameter is actually thicker than the largest ball on the Anal Tool.

But wow, once I got it in does it feel good. Nice and full. With other butt plugs that I've tried such as the Pleasure #1, and The Li'l End, they slip out and I can't use them for extended wear. Also, the bases of those two stick out, and don't conform to the body well. What's different about the Neo is that the shape of the flare at the bottom curves to fit the body perfect, and actually stays between the cheeks, and wouldn't be visible through clothing. And because of its large size, it doesn't slip out. So large on the inside, small on the outside, a great combination for extended wear. Because of this feature, I am very much looking forward to trying it out in public.

The flare which fits the body so well also feels perfect for two fingers to pull out, even though the feeling is so good you'll want to keep it in.
