This is the perfect plug for beginners and experienced players. I love the slow taper of this toy, and, of course, the silicone is fabulous. This anal plug is comfortable for wearing, even for a fairly inexperienced player, such as myself. The base is comfy and doesn't get in the way during extended wear or sex. My boyfriend loves to use this on me as a warm-up to sliding himself inside me. The Neo also lubes up nicely and is easy to clean and store.

This plug is made of silicone. As all Tantus silicone toys, it is phthalate-free, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic; the brand states that their silicone is odorless and can be cleaned by boiling and/or bleaching.

I was shocked to see how flexible/pliable this toy was, out of the box. So much so that the base and the neck can be folded over on themselves. The plug at the thickest part still has some spring in it, so it is, by no means, rigid, but it's less rigid than the bottom part of the plug. The silicone is amazingly smooth and lubes up beautifully.

I am anal beginner. I train with the Tantus Ripple and use the Neo after that has been in for a while. This is the perfect toy for someone looking for the next step up in his or her anal adventures. I loved the texture of this toy in my ass; it was very comfortable but had more of an oomph while it was inside of me. I loved being able to squeeze down on it while it was inside of me. I was also able to thrust the toy in and out of myself. The base is thinner than Ryder's, but one could still put a vibe or bullet on it and send vibrations into their ass. The tip of Neo is smaller than a pencil eraser, and the body widens smoothly and slips in surprisingly easily. The toy is 4 inches long and 4-1/2 inches in diameter; it's not too long or too wide--it fits perfectly.

This toy is obviously safe for anal play. Since the silicone can be sanitized, it can also be used vaginally but is pretty useless for that. Please make sure that if you are going to use this toy vaginally that you clean it first and never put this toy (or anything, for that matter) into your vagina directly out of your ass; either clean it or use a condom.

I used this toy after I've warmed up with the Ripple. I'm still a beginner and am teaching myself how to relax, so I lube the toy and myself up really well and slowly inch it in (which is also a nice tease). The last bit of Neo requires me to focus to make sure I'm relaxed and requires a bit more pressure, but then he pops right in. Neo offers a magnificent, full feeling and moves around ever so slightly while you're walking around. The base is incredibly comfortable for walking, standing, and sitting (this coming from a girl with no ass); it also didn't get in the way during double penetration with my boyfriend. The base is wide enough to place a vibe or a bullet on the end of it, or to have yourself or your partner thrust it in and out of your ass.

My one beef with this toy's material is that it retains smells. As with my Ripple, after my first session, Neo had a distinct "ass" smell. I washed it with Dr. B's soap and let it air out for a few days, and the smell dissipated. This toy does attract lint, so I store it in a zip-lock bag when it's not being enjoyed. It is for this reason that I had suggested that the toy be rinsed before use and washed with soap and water after use.

Neo comes in the normal, red and white, plastic Tantus packaging. The box is non-discreet and somewhat flimsy. The toy was nestled in a clamshell inside of the box. I would not recommend using the box for long-term storage, as it rips easily and takes up a lot of room.

I have to work up to Neo, as I'm not advanced enough to start with it right off the bat. I or my boyfriend like to tease myself by starting with the Ripple and enjoying the bubbles pop in and out with a bit of clit play to warm up to Neo. The first half of the toy goes in fairly easily; the second half requires focus on relaxation, but with a good lube, it eventually pops right in. This toy instantly made me wet, and my boyfriend was super-hard after he discovered the first time I finally got it in. Neo seems to be a great toy for before the boyfriend and I engage in anal, as it opens me up just close enough so it requires minimal effort from him to enter me. I was able to walk around and bend over with Neo in my ass; it was a pleasant experience, as it adjusts ever so slightly while inside you. While playing with this solo, I like to push the base farther into my ass and use small thrusting motions to send myself over the edge. The boyfriend loved how tight I was while this was in my ass; I don't think he's ever come so fast, and we both enjoyed that it stayed in until we finished.
