Is it possible to be TOO nice to one's own ass? What a question. After a frankly adjective-challenging experience with the Aneros SGX, any other anal toy tried directly after was going to be something of a letdown, but Tantus' vibrating Pro Touch is unexciting by any measure. A ribbed, curved, harness-friendly anal plug with an optional mini-vibrator, the Pro Touch certainly looks the part. The shape is attractive, and it promises much. Even after a bit of use, though, and multiple angles of stimulation, it just doesn't inspire the kind of stimulation one looks for in an anal toy.
Without the vibrator, Pro Touch is of use mostly to people who just, you know, want something in their ass. And on that simple, basic level it delivers; albeit uninspiring. Disappointment rears its listless head once the vibe is employed, it just doesn't affect the experience in any meaningful way. The plug doesn't conduct the vibrations in the manner that the best silicone anal toys do. It sort of... hums a bit. The settings on it are adjustable, but even the most hummingbird-esque speed proves not-quite-enough to shake the toy into life. It's hard to say whether this is a design flaw, but the intensity never really kicks in.
Though this certainly sounds like a condemnation, the Pro Touch isn't a bad toy, exactly. It's simply the sort of sex toy that a device like the Aneros SGX renders a bit obsolete. If you're looking for a nicely designed butt plug, the Pro Touch can get the job more or less done. If you're looking for an experience, you'd really want to look elsewhere. It's...utilitarian. But do you know anyone who really wants their sex to be utilitarian?
Actually, who knows? As kinks go, that would be positively insane.
