Space age sex toy's are over rated.

If you need a toy to rev up your space ship...errrr vulva, this is a great toy. It may not make you cum, but it will get you close. It works great it massaging the Vulva, clitoris, nipples and would be great to introduce external anal stimulation. For me, it was too weak to get me remotely close to orgasm. Regardless, the design is surly something to laugh at helping to lift the weight of the moment making a fun and sexy time.

The Tenticle arrives packaged in a small clamshell, inside you will find:
2 N batteries, a bonus purple velvet travel/storing bag, cardstock instuctions, and directions. As well as the Tenticle itself, a rare astronomical single-threat vibrator; Which features a design, what looks to be from the planet Mars. I am almost certain that if Pia Zadora was to use a toy in ‘Voyage of the Rock Aliens’ this would be the toy that she would use.

The Tenticle boasts that it is 100% silicone. Meaning, it is a non-porous, food-grade material. which is great since 100% silicone will not support microbiological growth. This also means that it is hypoallergenic! It is latex and phthalates free, For all of you that are sensitive to certain materials- this is a great choice material wise.
The unit is a plug shape, a chubby cone if you will. On top you will find three antennas, all dressed in pink. They are varying lengths, two long one that is short. You will also find little balls on the peak of each antenna.
The cone itself is 4 ½" long and it punches in at a quint 1 ½” in diameter. It doesn't stand tall, staking in a 5½” (including the base). Only 4” being insertable. Furthermore, it is in the shape of a soft serve swirl cone topped with naughty nubs all though out the plug. It may be on the smaller side of most toys, but makes up for it in its big personality.
Even texturally the Tenicle is different then most silicone toys that I am used too. It does have that soft but firm, buoyant density. The difference I feel is that the strange 'pull' is has as you slide you finger down it. Not the smooth gliding feel I am used to with most 100% silicone toys. I'm into it.

The bottom features a hard ABS plastic plug with a ring on top. There enclosed is the battery unit. You twist the ring thus creating pressure onto the battery to turn it on or to turn it off. The first time opening the battery unit, there will be a plastic insert which will direct you in which way to inset the battery. You insert one 'N' battery and you are on your way. Oddly enough, you can't control the intensities of the vibrations on this toy. It is completely void of any settings. Making these controls super basic and simple. Twisting one way is on. and the other off, thats it.

Once the unit is on it’s surprisingly quite. A very discrete shallow bzzzzzz sound is made. Under the covers the sound virtually non-existent.
The bullet is located in the bottom of the shaft. Vibration sensations can be had strongest though out the shaft of the toy. Becoming weaker towards the tip. I was really hoping that the antenna would make me shiver and shake, sadly that was not the case. The vibrations though the antenna's are minimal.
Over all this little guy kicks in at a 3 in the vroom department.

The front of the packaging notes that the "Tenticle Magic" is a 'Power Pink Butt Tool'. Clearly they are joking. The Tenticle is not flanged, nor is it safe in any way shape or form with anal insertion. There is a warning on the back noting that it is for external use only (although quite small). So please, do not put this in your butt. Ever.
Experience
I spent a copious amount of time trying to figure out what worked for me with the Tenticle. Theres so much going on with the shape of the unit, that I was really excited to use it. The Tenicle seems to have some many possibilities.
The shape of the unit spoke to me in away that implied the antennas would work great on the clit. I started off with the antennas. I rubbed them on my clitoris in a circular motion. Quickly I noticed this thing wasn't going to do the job. The vibrations are noticeable weaker in this area. There just ins't enough 'oomph' to do much. Disappointed, I moved the unit around to get a better feel for it. For me, I couldn't get that 'direct to direct' contract for a strong enough vibration without it being an awkward placement of the unit externally. Moving internally I felt more of the vibrations but once again not enough to get me to orgasm. The antennas felt nice (not mind blowing) around the vulva and externally on the anus. I was really hoping to be put into the zone for a space-age orgasm. Sadly, it did not preform in a way to make me want to use it again. I highly doubt I will breaking the Tenicle out often, if ever at all.

When using the Tenticle or any silicone toy for that matter, take note that Water and oil based lubes need to be used, as silicone lubes will likely bond to silicone toys thus, ruining them.

Cleaning up is a breeze. Unfortunately the sleeve around the bullet is unremovable.
To safety clean this toy: Remove the battery and replace the ring. In order to keep the seal waterproof, make sure to keep the ring twisted into the 'ON' position. Wipe the toy down with warm soapy water, rubbing alcohol or a 10% bleach mixture. Rinse and let dry.

Always keep your toys completely clean, dry and battery-less when storing.
Follow-up commentary
I don't think I have ever used this since I reviewed it. I have on the other hand pulled it out to freak people out, and that seems to be the best use I have gotten out of it.
I think as a gag gift this would be amazing.
But for actual use, not so much.
The controls/power completely suck and don't leave much to desire. Well, other then laughter.
