Review of Tenticle magic twisty - Vibrating butt plug

When I found this toy, I was looking specifically for a vibrating butt plug, but from a safety standpoint, using the Tentacle Twisty Magic for that is not responsible. There is no widened base and the retrieval ring is not any bigger than the the bottom of the toy. If you want a vibrating butt plug look elsewhere, there are safer toys for that. If you're going to simply use it to tickle and caress the anus that is OK (and yes, that feels AMAZING), but I would NOT recommend inserting it anally (it's not worth the embarrassing trip to the ER)!

This toy could certainly be used for vaginal insertion, clitoral and nipple stimulation, and all over massage. It's perfect for beginners as it is not overwhelming in size. It may also be good for highly sensitive users as the vibrations are not overpowering!

Since it is quiet, it is the perfect toy for shared-space living situation.

This toy is made with 100% silicone which rates 10/10 on the safety scale. It is nonporous and also waterproof. It's easy to clean and sanitize. Silicone holds heat and warms up to your body quickly. You can only use water-based lubes with this material, so make sure you have some on-hand because it is quite sticky and could pull or drag without it!

Since it is sticky, it is a bit of a lint magnet, so I would advise storing it somewhere where the dust and lint can't find it and also wash it before and after use.

The base/ring is made of plastic and is well constructed. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about this toy.

This toy does not have a strong odor or taste as far as I can tell which is a really nice feature. There was a chemical smell upon opening it but that has dissipated after washing.

The texture is also lovely. The nubs and swirls are not over pronounced, and it feels great inside the vagina and and against the skin! The top two inches of the toy are flexible and will bend.

The design is really the best part of this toy. It's adorable, funky, and kind of out there. It really does look like a tentacle, and I find that pretty hot because it reminds me of Japanese Hentai porn. It adds a little bit of playfulness to my toy collection and also made me and my partner giggle a bit when we first got it which made it exciting to use for the first time.

It's not discreet at all in my opinion. I look at it, and it's a sex toy - no doubt about it! You'll never be able to pass this one off as your "neck massager". Other than that, it's light weight and somewhat small. It is 6 inches long from the tip on the antennae to the bottom of the retrieval ring. The insertable length is about 4 inches. It is 4.75 inches in circumference at its widest point and 3.5 inches in circumference at its slimmest part. To me, it seems thicker in person than it did in the product pictures. It weighs 3.5 oz with the battery in place.

The glaringly obvious design flaw is the lack of a flared base which makes it unsafe for anal play! I really wish the manufacturers would have designed this toy better in that regard. I feel that could have possibly bumped this toy up to a 5 star rating.

The cap with retrieval ring twists off the bottom of the toy, and you can insert the battery there. When you turn the cap all the way clockwise, it turns on. I was a little bit worried about whether or not it was really water tight. There is a rubber gasket that creates a seal when you screw the cap on, but when you are turning it on and off, I could see how the seal might possibly be broken. I did use it in the shower and it works fine. I would probably just avoid exposing it to a lot of water and definitely would not submerge it in water. Tip: The retrieval ring can act as a hook to hang it up in the shower. Mine is hanging from my shower caddy at the moment!

There is only one setting for the vibrations on this toy; it is a simple twist on and off mechanism. The toy comes with 2 size N battery in the package but only uses one at a time. It's nice to have a back up battery on hand since this is not a common size. You will need to unscrew the pink cap with the ring on it and insert the battery. Mine came with a plastic insert inside the battery housing which I think must have been to protect the contact points from dust. I removed this before putting the battery in.

The motor is in the base of the toy, and although the vibrations are quite weak, they do stay consistent throughout the toy. The antennae at the tip seem to vibrate with the same intensity as the base. When you apply a lot of pressure to the toy the vibrations are almost non-existent, but when applied lightly, they provide a nice tease and tickle.

This toy is not super loud at all. In fact, I would rate it at the lower end of the scale.

This toy can be used with water-based lube only. It is relatively low maintenance and clean up is a snap since it is silicone. I simply rinsed it with hot water, applied a toy cleanser, allowed it to sit for two minutes and then wiped it with a damp cloth. You can use any mild antibacterial soap on this product. Do not submerge it in water or expose the battery housing to water. I would recommend cleaning it before and after use. It does attract lint and dust.

As always, use a condom if you're going to share this item!

The toy is packaged well. It comes in a clear plastic clam shell type case which could be used for storage. It is clear and not discreet. Therefore, it might not make a great gift if you are worried about that. It comes with a purple non-padded fabric pouch for storage. The pouch is actually way too big for the toy but this worked to my advantage because I had another toy that come with a pouch that was too small so I simply swapped them!

I also want to mention that the packaging says the pouch is "velvet". It absolutely is not velvet. It's more of a weird micro-suede but it's ok.

The writing on the back of the package in not even legible because the font is so small. I had to pull out my magnifying glass to read the print which was kind of annoying.

Honestly, I think this is truly more of a novelty item than a serious sex toy. I bought it under that premise and that's why I wanted it - because it's cute. If you want something more useful and powerful, try something else, but if you're looking for unusual, weird, and interesting, this is the toy for you!

Right out of the gate, I could tell that little Twisty here was going to be my one of my favorite toys but really only in terms of aesthetics. It's cute, pink, and whimsical; it's just the kind of thing a girly girl like me loves!

It seems sticky in comparison to my other silicone toys, but I used it with a water-based lube, so it didn't have any drag (I really don't like that sticking, pulling feeling on my skin--that didn't happen at all with lube). The bumps and twists feel really awesome upon vaginal insertion. The little antennae on top were a bit pinchy though when the toy was inside of me. It left like I was being poked with a little sharp object at one point which was kind of annoying but not painful. I simply adjusted the position and was good to go.

As far as vibrations go, they seemed rumbly to me and not super strong. Although, it's not the weakest vibe I've ever had either, so I would rate it as "moderate". It did little for clitoral stimulation and is not the right design for g-spotting. The vibrations did however feel good on my nipples, along my vulva, and anus. I must say that the antennae did tickle and tease my clit but nothing spectacular, so I would say this toy would be best used for a warm up/foreplay.
