Swing and a miss!

Kinky: Without rehashing this review all over again, I was disappointed in the performance of this toy; it just would not deliver on its intended purpose for me or any purpose at all. Although the toy is well made and I'm sure well designed for some people, I personally can't get into this toy. We are giving this toy 4 stars despite the letdown. I'm sure it will rock the socks off some but not all.

Use

The P-Spot was designed to be a prostate massager. Once inserted anally the toy's tip should be touching the prostate gland. By moving the toy in a rocking motion it will apply varying amounts of pressure into the prostate. Aside from the health benefits for your prostate it will give stronger erections and greater orgasms.

Prostate message is not only fun and enjoyable; it can have medical benefits as well. The biggest reason for most would be improved ejaculation and a heightened sexual experience. Other benefits include, reducing impotence and the reduction of pain/swelling of the prostate.

Being that this toy was designed for anal play, it has a large round flared base to prevent an oops moment! This base would also fit well in a harness, though it's curved design would limit thrusting. With proper cleaning it could be used as a G-Spot toy as well.

Horny: They toy itself was fun to use to pleasure him, and although it didn't reach the potential we were hoping for, it still was a fun experience.

Kinky: When we were selected to review this toy I was excited. It is our first prostate massager and I was sure I would love it, given our experiences with the Feeldoe Violet and The Big End. Sadly for me this toy was a big letdown. It just did not hit anything for me. The toy was pleasurable, just not enough.

Material / Texture

Doc Johnson did it again with the material and texture. Made out of silicone, giving it a 10 on the Eden safety scale, it is ideal for anal play being that it is non-porous. Unlike their toy The Big End, it is not as squishy easing insertion a great deal. The surface is smooth with no seams present. Its texture makes it ideal for all levels of users.

Horny: The texture was good, slick enough for easy insertion, and the ridges seem like they enhance pleasure on him.

Kinky: Once again in terms of production quality Doc Johnson does a wonderful job on their toys. The texture of this toy makes it incredibly comfortable when it is inserted; it is just firm enough to enable easy use.

Design / Shape / Size

With a slight curve upward to aid in applying pressure to the p-spot and its almost bead like shape growing increasingly larger, it promises a whirlwind of pleasure. Unfortunately its success will greatly depend on the user's anatomy. Compared to our other toys it is a little smaller at 1.5 inches in diameter. Although it is not as obvious as an anal plug, travel with this might still raise some eyebrows if it is seen. It is small enough to be concealed in your bag though.

Horny: I think the length of the toy is what didn't work for us. For some other guys it may or may not work, I think everybody is different. Texture, shape and design are innovative and did their job for the most part.

Kinky: Although I still consider myself an anal beginner, this toy's size and shape makes me question that thought. The beaded design did give a small amount of pleasure with some light thrusting provided by Horny, but it was just not enough. The curve that makes this toy a prostate massager failed miserably. I can't say this is a bad toy though. If you are truly a beginner at anal play this toy might be just what you are looking for, though your anatomy will be the true deciding factor.

A big flaw that might have made all the difference for me is its inability to stay in on its own. If it had that narrow portion at the end to help keep it in for use during sex this toy might have been a better match.

Performance

Kinky: This was such a letdown for me. I was hoping that it would hit that magic spot and send waves of enjoyment. I have better luck in that regard with toys that are not even meant to hit anything. The size difference compared to our other toys, although less than a quarter inch difference, felt considerably more with this toy. Even with the tip missing the prostate if the size was a bit larger or the variation from one bump to another was larger, I think this toy could have been better.

Care and Maintenance

One thing to know if you are new to silicone toys: they love dust or should we say dust loves them. A quick rinse in the sink before use fixes that problem or you could keep the toy in a small box or bag. Far outweighing the dust issue of silicone is its ability to be cleaned/sterilized. You have a few options to get your toy squeaky clean. The first and simplest is a quick wash with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. If you intend on sharing this toy going a little further is advisable. Your second option is a soak in a a 10% bleach solution; bleach is great at killing all those nasty germs. Last, but buy no means least, is a 10 minute bath in boiling water, the only down fall is the work involved.

Once last thing you need to know on keeping your toy loving you: Silicone Toys + Silicone Lube = buying a new toy.

Packaging

We're sure what's keeping cost down for this toy is the packaging. It is a simple plastic clamshell type package with a cardboard insert giving basic product details. There are no directions included, but that is why Google is so great. The nice thing about the package is they did not melt it shut, it is just snapped together. You could always keep this toy in its package but we prefer to just toss it into the box with all the others.

Personal comments

Horny: Overall, it was an interesting toy to use. With the myriad of sex toys out there, I was curious about a prostate massager; the more you try the more you find out what works for you and what doesn't. For me it was a fun experience and will more than likely use it again.

Kinky: I hoped to enjoy this toy, but it's just not designed for my anatomy. I'm not going to let that stop us from trying it again with a follow up a few months later. I hope time will change my mind.
