The Awkward P-Wand

Okay, just some last personal notes. Would I recommend this product? Yes, but not for someone who has little experience. It's not the best for a first timer, but for more experienced yes I would. Cause bottom line, you will get off and it will be amazing.

Use

I was pretty excited about this. I've used other prostate massagers in the past and I was looking forward to this one. There is an initial awkward phase of how to hold it due to its smooth texture, and the "Hook" shape (I will get more into this later) adds some weight to it so it will start to slide. It took me a while to get the hang of this. I tried both ends and grabbed it from different areas as well. The p-wand I found works best while laying down. It didn't work all that great sitting down. And standing up takes some real finesse to get it to actually hit the P-spot and stay. That is one of its major downfalls.

But once laying down, it's easier to grab the base of the hook. This thing is slick though, especially with lube on it. But then it actually does what it's called and massages the prostate! And once it is in that sweet spot,
you can finally achieve (sound of trumpets) an orgasm.

Material / Texture

It's made out of firm silicone. It's really smooth and easy to clean. But once lubed up, it gets pretty slick. And it doesn't have a horrid smell. It goes in smooth and it's firm but not too firm, unlike some plastic products. Now it does bend so it's not like Superman bending a crowbar. It flexes and all that glory, but it won't flop around while just starting to get it in. Since it is so smooth, it feels good once it's in.

Design / Shape / Size

Once in action, the shape does work to the advantage. But for best stimulation, the user (as said previously) needs to be laying down. I'll break down how it works here now. First off the hook shape. The small nub is used to rub and stimulate the perineum (a.k.a. Taint, Gooch, Guiche, etc.), the outside prostate for simple terms. This is where I thought this toy failed in its goal. It rubs there but not to the point where anyone is gonna write home about it. It feels more like someone just keeps poking there. More strange and awkward than arousing. They should of kept with the main portion and topped it off with something that would make it easier to hold.

Once it is in, it takes a little bit of effort to find the p-spot. But once it does, you will explode. That is when it does what it says it does. Massages the prostate and it feels great! I cannot deny Doc Johnson company that.

It's not all that big. The whole thing can fit in the palm of a hand. So the more experienced with the technique of prostate massage might find it too small. But it's a good size for any, and for newbies as well cause it's not something that is gonna make any one freak out.

Performance

Like I said before, after fang-dangling around and trying different positions, this thing worked like a charm. But due to its odd style and shape, it takes a little bit of practice. Also once laying down, it becomes easier to get it to the position it needs to be. Gravity will no longer try to work against you. The main massager is great but once again the small nub is a nuisance and can be a big distraction. I understand that it's supposed to rub the outside, but I think it fell short on that mark. But other than that, this is a pretty solid product.

Care and Maintenance

The Doc Johnson p-wand prostate massager is made out of 100% silicone, which is a big plus for cleaning. Throw it in the dishwasher (top rack) or the boiling water method also works. Or a scrub down with a good soap or the famous 10% bleach trick. It does a pretty good job at not attracting a lot of hair, fuzz, dust or whatever else the mind can think of. It's not really big so it's easy to store. Because of its material, it's usually a good idea to use some form of protection if it will be in contact with others. And like all silicone based products, use water-based lube.
