Cobalt Bubble Plug by Don Wands



Use

Well this is another piece of glass beautiful and unique, this one is intended for anal play, for both males and females. This one seems to be more for intermediately experienced anal players. I wouldn’t suggest it for beginners and experienced persons would probably get a lot of joy from it also. Shh, I can actually use this one.(YEAH)

Material/Texture

Cobalt blue is completely smooth, with one teardrop shape and a bubble. It is made of a sturdy somewhat heavy glass. The glass is actually borosilicate glass other wise know as Pyrex, the stuff your cookware is made from. Borosilicate glass contains boron to change the density of the glass so that it resists breakage and it to break into large pieces with out shards or splinters. This is very safe for sex toys since out bodies have give and the toy doesn’t. The way to ruin this glass is by dropping it and getting chips or scratches on the surface. The scratches can actually cause tissue damage. Be sure to inspect your glass before you use it. The glass is a food safe, hypoallergenic, non porous, latex and phthalates free material It has an Eden safety scale rating of 10.



Size/Shape

The cobalt blue has a total length of 5 inches, insertable length is 4 ½ inches. The largest diameter of this toy is 1 5/8th inches. The top teardrop shape is 2 ½ inches long and then you have the one bubble that is 1 inch long, the glass bubbles give the most wonderful sensations when popping in and out. The tapered area before the flared end has a diameter of 1 inch. This plug is somewhat difficult to keep in. Even though it is quite a bit longer than the icicles #25 it is slightly thinner and I was able to fully insert it.






Care/Maintenance

You can use any type of lube with glass ranging from your oils, water based, hybrid or latex. I used a very large amount of sassy anal lube when I used this plug. I probably didn't need to use that much but I try to make it ease as best I can. You can sterilize glass by boiling it, placing it in your dishwasher, or cleaning it with a 10% bleach solution. You can clean it with your antibacterial soap and water, toy sprays, Eden wipes or what ever you use. If using chemicals be sure to rinse it before you use it. Be careful when you are cleaning it so you don’t drop it in the bathroom sink when it is all slicked up with soap. I plan on storing my blue cobalt in the purple padded pouch that it came with.

Packaging



The blue cobalt came in a clear clam shell type package. It actually came with the blue padded pouch included. It has a sample of wet silicone lube and an information sheet included. The free pouch is great but as you can see in the pictures, the plug doesn’t fit into it all the way, the butt is sticking out!

This one works wonderfully for me. I had issues with icicles # 25 review here [link|https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/anal-toys/the-glass-that-i-can-t-fit-in-my-a] I am still somewhat of a beginner to anal play. I don't know what the issue is if it is the very bulbous end on the icicles or what. The teardrop shape of the blue cobalt was very easy for insertion and even though it is longer it wasn't an issue. The coolness of the glass in the anal cavity is a very hard experience to describe but it feels so good. I am actually able to experience an orgasm with just the insertion. This piece gives a great sensation of fullness. Now I have not gotten up and walked around with this piece in but that will be coming.

I still like this one, I use it frequently. It is very unforgiving though and can become uncomfortable with extended sessions. It takes some getting used to. This one absorbs your body heat with use and you may be surprised when you remove it because of how warm it gets.
