Tickled Pink
While this plug is not really suited for people other than complete beginners, it performs very well in that regard, and is perfect for anyone looking for a cheap, effective way to ease into self-exploration.

Pros
Non-intimidating, small, comfortable
Cons
Tiny, not for experienced users, smell of material
From her: This was my very first plug- indeed, my very first anal toy. For the entirety of my time being sexually active I had been firmly convinced that I was totally disinterested in anal. But with gradual exploration, I began feeling more positive about the possibility of anal stimulation. As such, I was looking for a toy that was completely non-threatening and not too expensive (as I was unsure about how I felt with regard to anal penetration, and didn't want to drop a lot of money on something I would potentially only use once or twice). My partner has the larger version of this toy Classic Butt Plug and has always enjoyed it, so I decided to test out the smallest size of the same model.
This plug fit the bill. It's a little thicker than one of my fingers, and with a little lube it went right in. I will say that the description of 'plug' is somewhat misleading, as the slimness of this toy makes it, especially for an inexperienced user such as myself, impossible for it to stay in on its own, unless the wearer is sitting directly on top of it. Luckily it is possible to masturbate while sitting- or, if you have a partner, to enlist their help in keeping it inside- but it's unfortunately not a candidate for being paired with intercourse, for example. I'm still on the fence about anal penetration, but whenever I do get the urge to test the waters again, this plug is my go-to toy.
From him: As a user of a decidedly more advanced level, this toy is almost laughably small. Much like the larger cousin, this toy has an exterior shell of rubber, which means if you're going to be sharing, you need to wrap it. Rubber is porous, which means it's difficult to clean, can keep smells, and is unable to be completely sterilized. Additionally, oil based lubricants are a pretty bad idea.
As for shape and design, this toy is reminiscent of larger ones, in that there is a thickening to a bulb, which then tapers until it hits the base. However, the bulb is very small, and most likely won't stay in by itself for even first time users, so trying to walk around with this inserted is not recommended. However, this is a good introduction to those among us to whom the idea of trying anything anal based is surprising. In short, if you're still working on feeling comfortable with even a finger back there, then this is a good place to start toy wise. It's softer and more flexible than a finger, while still offering the rigidity that you're looking for. Be comfortable, explore yourself, and find sensations that might even surprise you.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
This little guy has not gotten a lot of play recently, but only because of extraneous circumstances. Despite a lack of use, it still continues to perform quite well as a beginner's plug.

Obviously, you purchased this so She could get an introduction to anal play, but since him is more experienced, I would have thought a higher quality toy would have been in order. Thanks for the review.

@Jimbo Jones: From him: Actually Jimbo, She surprised me with this, I had no idea she bought it, and she didn't ask my opinion on a toy before she did.
