The Package
The mask comes within a simple package. Nothing really special here. There isn't much else to say about it.

The Mask
The mask is beautifully designed. The background is a charcoal gray in color. There are designs drawn on it in what looks to be black permanent marker. The type commonly seen in schools. Near these marks you find others. These are trails of glue with gold glitter sprinkled on them for more designs. Around the exterior edges of the mask are a lacy trip with silver glittery spots.

The interior of the mask looks rather rough. The inner part comprises most of the body of the mask, and seems to be a type of molded plastic. With mine, there were silvery places near the eyes. Almost as if paint or glue were mistakenly placed there.

The Straps
The straps are attached with a small rivet each. They seem to be a type of satin ribbon, I'm not exactly sure though. One downside I've found is that the rivets show up on the front of the mask as well. It's not a huge thing, but would have been nice if they managed to hide them.

Cleaning the Mask
You never know when something might accidentally spill, depending on the activities you engage in while wearing the mask. Personally, I would go with tissues to gently wipe it. You have to be careful with the glitter designs, as they can scrub off. I know I found some glitter specks on the back of the mask, which might have been from it rubbing while in the package. If the stain is persistent, a light dab of water is all I would recommend, on the tissue itself, not directly on the mask. I would avoid soap and any other cleaners, as they might stain it or damage the designs. While it's not an expensive mask, there is no harm in being careful.

Personally, I love this mask. I wore it for perhaps a half hour this evening. It's comfortable, without hampering the vision in the least. However when I took it off, I did notice that a deal of sweat had manifested on my forehead and upper cheeks. This was due to the smooth plastic of the back. It might have been better if this had a light piece of cloth on the back, so if you do sweat, the cloth would help to absorb it. Even better if you could slip the cloth off, to wash and clean.

I think this is a great item, whether you are into this sort of thing for a party or in a sexual way. But it also works lovely as an accessory. I can easily envision someone using this as part of a costume for Halloween. And I think a lot of people would like to receive one of these. I actually showed mine to my mother, who noticed the large box of goodies I received. (Since I didn't want her pestering me, and didn't think it prudent to show her my other recent acquisitions.) She immediately took to it, asking me "If I can guess how much it was, can I have it?".

One other thing to mention, is that given the fixed shape, this can be a difficult item to travel with. I'd recommend a box to place it in, to prevent it getting broken accidentally.
