I bought this mask for two reasons: one, I didn't want a cheapo dollar one since they are just plain and two, to take some sexy pictures of me in the mask for my partner!

This mask does the trick, as it fits very well and leaves a lot of allure to the eyes. It is pretty unisex, and can be worn on pretty much anybody. The fasteners are a lot better than just a punch hole cut out that you find on plain masks at a craft shop; it helps to stay in place while you have a little...fun.

The only potential downside is that it does have glitter paint, which may rub off on your hands or other things if you handle the decorative side too much. The color is a cool burnished antique gold but duo-tones into a steel grey. It is not as bright-gold as the picture of the package shows, just so you know. It wasn't necessarily a con for me, but I know others might be disappointed. Laced around the edge of the mask is silver fabric and tinsel ribbon. The designs are gold glitter and black lines. The lines do look drawn rather haphazardly, which does diminish the greatness of such a good base. However, the mask's craftsmanship is quite superb for something this affordable. If you have the money to shell out, it's worth it to get a good laser-cut one. There's tons on Etsy or Ebay; however, if you are just starting out with a little bit of mask play, this is a great purchase.

On some other reviews, there was complaints about getting a bit hot under the mask. That's normal. Granted, you shouldn't be dressed up in a non-ventilated room. Have a window open with blinds drawn, and it should help. If you have thick hair, keep your hair up and tied back to help with this. There isn't a fabric lining on the inside of the mask, as it is just plastic, which makes it a bit cooler.
