Pink candy jaguar cuffs by ASLAN Leather - review by Cowgirl-Cutie

The Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs from Aslan Leather are easily the most beautiful set of cuffs I currently own. These cuffs are versatile in that they are great for beginners, intermediates, and advanced users. While they will not be great for suspension bondage, I fail to think of anything else for which they wouldn’t be fantastic. Even with not being good for suspension, this isn’t really due to the cuffs--I just don’t think they would be the most comfortable cuffs available on the market for this type of play.

Aslan has really made a beautiful set of cuffs that will last for many years if given proper care. They are truly durable and easy to care for.

One of the best things about these cuffs is they are able to be locked. While they don’t come with the locks and keys that’s easy enough to take care of. I went to Target and got the small pink Master Lock set and they go perfectly with these cuffs. So yes, you can play with each hand free and locked. You can also lock these together using a larger lock in the middle. Or, my personal favorite, you can use rope!

I’m truly amazed by the quality of this set. With it being my first Aslan Leather product, they’ve sold me. I will definitely be buying more of their products in the coming weeks!

The design of these cuffs is seriously gorgeous! I’m not joking around, either. They are so pretty when you see them on the site, right? Well, they are even more beautiful in person! The pink is a bright, hot, pink, although it’s not a neon color so don’t worry about that. The white is even beautiful, and I normally don’t care for white cuffs. The combination of the two causes the pink to be very eye-catching. I just think the look of these is worth the price alone. The quality of this product just makes me even more inclined to love them.

The leather is soft but sturdy, and the cuffs come out of their packaging quite stiff. This does not actually affect the ease of use or being comfortable while in use though. Once you've used these a few times, the stiffness lessens and they become even more comfortable. I've had these for just over a week, and I've used them so much they’re already over that stiff phase.

The stitching is beautiful and, so far, mine haven’t come loose anywhere. The hardware is sturdy and looks nice with the color scheme. Speaking of hardware, there is something important you should know: they are made of nickel-plated steel, so those with allergies please take note! The D-ring attachment is sized large enough to be used with many types of bondage. You can use rope or even a larger lock.

The inner side is lined with soft, vegan leather in white. It is noticeably softer than the real leather that makes up the hot pink portion. On top of the hot pink layer is another white layer. They are 12 inches long and 2 inches wide, making these cuffs suitable for many sizes. I have 7-½ inch wrists, and I still have plenty of room to move around.

These do smell like leather, although it is very subtle. I happen to have a leather fetish so I wouldn't mind a stronger smell. Although those sensitive to the smell will appreciate the subtlety of these cuffs.

The locking feature is the biggest perk of these cuffs for Hubby and me. I have been searching and searching for the right pair of cuffs, and these popped up. We are truly satisfied with this pair, and the locking feature has added a lot of fun to our play time. If they are tight enough, you won’t be able to escape so they will truly do their job at restraining you. As always, especially with restraints, please be sure to have a safe-word or signal so you can alert your partner in case you need out. This is very important, and I recommend it in any kind of play.

So far the cuffs have always been very comfortable. In the beginning there was some stiffness, but after a few days of consistent wear that disappeared. Now they are very comfortable, and I wear them throughout the day, not just at play time.

We have yet to actually lock the two together, however, but I believe that would be easily done with a bigger lock. I like that the D-ring attachment can be used in other ways. So far we have used rope to tie me down, and it has worked perfectly.

Most people tend to think that leather is high-maintenance. While it can be at times, I believe these cuffs are just fine. Aslan actually includes a tag that instructs you on how to care for your new cuffs. The white could become dirty after wearing for a while so all you have to do is dampen a cloth, add some soap, and wipe down the cuffs. Be sure all of the soap is gone and wipe with a dry cloth to be sure it’s dry. Once you’re sure it’s dry, store them in a cool and dry environment. Never submerge your cuffs in water, and if your leather starts to look dry then use some leather conditioner on them.

Packaging for this product is super-simple. It's just a plastic bag to protect the cuffs while being shipped. From what I understand, all Aslan products have this simple packaging.

I absolutely adore these cuffs! These are my second leather set, and Aslan has provided an excellent product. I would buy these again if given the option. They're comfortable and beautiful.
