Sex and Mischief elastabind cuffs by Sportsheets - review by Lavendar

Sportsheets has an entire BDSM themed line called Sex and Mischief. These are very playful and beginner friendly products. The elastabind cuffs are the first product I have used from the S&M line. These would be perfect for couples looking into BDSM for the first time, or those just looking for a kinky night with their partner. Due to the flimsiness of the cuffs I would not recommend them to advanced players.
The cuffs are extremely simple to use, they slip right on. However they can slip off easily as well. They can be worn with your hands crossed at the wrists or with your hands together. S&M's cuffs are extremely travel friendly, they take up hardly and space when folded. I have also tried using these in the shower without any issues. The material will dries normally after being wet.

The elastabind cuffs are very simply designed. It is two tube -like pieces of flexible black elastic which are sewn together and have a metal D-ring on the front.

They are very easy to get into and out of for those with slender wrists. For individuals with larger wrists they might be uncomfortable, especially for extended wear. These can probably be used as ankle cuffs as well, for those with very slim ankles. I'm almost sure they would tear apart when trying to get your ankles free. I have slim ankles and I was barely able to pull them out of the cuffs. The cuffs are non-adjustable so if you do not have slim wrists, they will probably not fit correctly. The elastic will most likely be tight and uneven during use.

The first time I slipped my cuffs on I was wriggling my wrists a little bit, and I accidentally ripped the seam at the top a good 1/2 inch. This was followed by actually wearing them in bed and tearing them apart completely. I was a naughty slave and tried to escape, so breaking free was exhilarating even though the cuffs were ruined. If you like to struggle in your restraints and want to remain restrained, these is not the product for you. The elastabind cuffs are for beginners who are looking for very light bondage. Even then, I doubt these cuffs would be very durable. I think they are good for a only few uses before they rip. These are a starter pair of cuffs at best.

Cleaning these cuffs is very simple. Wiping them down with a damp cloth or a quick hand-washing should suffice. It is unclear if you can machine wash these. I prefer to hand wash and air dry mine since I worry about the D-ring falling off in the washer. There were no cleaning instructions included in the package.
