Cuff Me Baby!

The cuffs are easy to put on and take off, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it is convenient; bad because I can easily wiggle out of the cuffs since I squirm quite a bit. The clasps on the cuffs are solid and the material of the cuffs are comfortable. Overall, these would be great cuffs for beginners.

Use

The Cal Exotics Plushy Gear Wrist Cuffs are best off for beginners. They are simple and effective, which is one good reason to get them. The cuffs secure with Velcro; easy on, easy off. No hassle, which I like. As you can see in the picture, they can be cuffed together. This is awesome for when I go to grab them out of my stash, I don't have to search for each cuff. You can, of course, use them clipped together or you can unclasp them to clip them to something else. Advanced users might find these too easy to escape from or simply slip out of as it is only Velcro that is used to secure the cuffs.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The cuffs come in solid black and are one size fits most. They are 3 inches wide. Velcro is used as the closure and one metal clip is attached to each cuff, allowing the cuffs to be tied to one another or used separately (at a spread out distance or singularly).

The cuffs are really comfortable. The inside is lined with a soft plush padding that doesn't hurt, tug, rub uncomfortably, etc.

I was actually worried that these wouldn't fit when I got them. They were adjusted at a medium length and they looked huge. My wrists are really tiny, so I thought for sure they would be overly loose on me. Thankfully, they shortened enough that they fit snug and comfy. They also adjust pretty darn big though, so they should fit just about anyone and everyone.

Performance

I like how easy it is to clip/un-clip the cuff clasps. It is as if the clasps were made for my bed. I have a wrought iron headboard/foot board with swirling designs. The clasps fit perfectly around the iron swirls. This means that my hands can be placed high and wide, completely out of reach and totally at mercy if my man so wishes, or he can clasp them together behind my back, etc. Sadly, I do wiggle a lot and my hands can slip out of the cuffs easily enough as my wrists are small. To avoid this, I will usually hold onto the top of the cuff attachment (clasp), or the post it is attached to, etc. to make sure I can't slip as easily.

Care and Maintenance

To clean the cuffs, use an upholstery cleaner and a wash cloth to gently wipe/scrub the material or a mild detergent can be used if you like to hand wash things. Do not douse the cuffs in water! Simply use a wet wash cloth (squeeze out most of the excess water), add a small bit of liquid detergent to the cloth, rub the cloth together to get some suds going, and then gently wipe off the cuffs. Let the cuffs dry completely before storing them.
