Cute practice cuffs!

This is a good pair of cheap cuffs for people starting out, or for light bondage during sensory play. They also make a cute pair of fashion cuffs and I have managed to wear them outside with few odd glances. The cuffs have buckle clasps for those who like the look and feel of harder BDSM, but you get what you pay for. The edges are raw and some stitching peels out. I have rather tiny wrists and the third of five settings is a bit too big for me yet the second is far too small. I can slip my wrists out easily and the cuffs themselves twist sideways. I could punch another hole in them, but for now this is a casual set for the illusion of being tied during harder scenes I am not yet comfortable with giving complete control for.

The cuffs come in a plastic case with cardboard backing. The packaging is far from discreet, as proven by the awkward situation of my boyfriend's mother accidently opening the box. All in all this is a good pair of light restraint cuffs for couples getting their feet wet.

I only wish it had fit my boyfriend. I am used to heavier play and wanted a girly pair to humiliate him. Perhaps his mother grabbing the wrong box off the table accomplished that much at least. For now they sit in our toy box, waiting for use on days where teasing each other is enough.

These cuffs are supposedly made of leather, though they lack the standard leather smell. I am unsure of the metal used to fasten them. Wiping them down with leather cleaner/polish should help take care of them long term. A light spill on them can be wiped off with a damp rag then dried. Leather is porous, so it should not be shared between partners that are not fluid-bonded. Don't submerse them in water or wear them in the shower.

I am surprised these have held up as well as they have. I tend to be quite rough on restraints and they have only frayed a little along the outer seams. The outer seams do dig into my wrists uncomfortably, though perhaps that helps keep them intact. They leave minor abrasive wounds if used too long, but nothing that lasts visibly for more than an hour or so. I think I will be looking into a more serious pair of play cuffs but these are still a cute fashion pair and functional in an instant if the mood strikes.
