These have a couple of uses. You can use them for your wrists or if you are small enough, your ankles. This product is probably better suited for women, considering smaller women usually have smaller wrists than their men. I keep mentioning smaller women, because I really don't think that these will fit, much less be comfortable, for larger women. I'm fairly slender and on the third notch it's really tight. I'm not complaining. I like them tight. But that only leaves two notches for expansion. I wouldn't use them in water, as they are not real leather. I think they are vinyl or something, and the fur would probably ruin.

The material is a fake leather with fur inside. After a few uses, the stitching starts coming undone. The material tears up easily when you fasten and unfasten them. Once you have the cuffs on, they hold very strong. They are not very comfortable at all. They should have used a thicker fur. The fur on the inside is very thin. The chain links are very strong though. I would recommend these to a beginner. They get a few good uses and you can decide whether you want to spend the money on a decent pair.

It met my needs but not my expectations. These are very poorly crafted, although they are sturdy. You pay for what you get here. They are cheap enough for a few great nights of play though. I will definitely be investing in a better pair.

I'm thinking that the only way to clean these would be a damp cloth. Anything else would probably ruin them.
