Get ready to be plugged in

Overall, I enjoyed this toy. It was my first foray into e-stim and enough to keep me interested. It was a good entry-level price. The plug is solid steel and comfortable, easy to use. Stimulation is pretty good for just running on two AAA batteries. Directions would be a welcome addition. Good for beginners. Totally silent operation is great.

Use

The tingle e-stim set, is designed to work with the E-stim control box (required) to give electrifying and tingling sensations to your body, specifically your genitals and anus. Please see my reviews of the control box for more information.

This particular plug is to be inserted in the anus where it stays put, while you connect the circuit by sticking a patch to a local area of choice. The plug might occasionally slip out with a lot of lube in use. Speaking of lube, you should use water-based lube or conductive gel in order for the signals to conduct with your skin. Silicone is an insulator, so they say not to use it. I think it could lead to some unwanted side-effects. The plug has a base that prevents it from going all the way inside you. Accidents can happen though, and with metal toys in particular, the best thing you can do is relax and don't panic. If you stand up or kneel and relax the weight will make them fall out in my experience rather easily (even when you don't want them to). If that doesn't work, try peeing, which will help to relax your muscles and catch it when it falls out, so you don't damage your tile flooring!

This was my first time using an e-stim device. I had read about them, but was still on the fence and a little apprehensive, tempered with a little excitement knowing it might bring new pleasures too. You insert the plug with the snap on wire attached and then place the patch somewhere on your body where you want to feel pleasure. In the case with this device, it makes the most sense to put it on the perineum area, though I experimented with some other parts too. I will add more to that in experience section.

Material / Texture

The plug is solid steel with a shiny finish. It has a nice heft to it and tapered in multiple points. It's a good size for beginners. More advanced users may wish for something longer or thicker. There are other options that work with the same controller available here on EF. It is smooth and sleek and not porous at all, so you can share with partners.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is a gradual multi-tiered taper, so it's very easy to insert and has a fairly wide base that is comfortable and keeps it secure. Once, I had been relaxed I did have it slip out a few times during use, but it generally stays put and you can keep a finger on it to hold it in place if worried about it coming out. It's a good size/shape for beginners, but I would have preferred a more smoothly tapered shape, but it works ok. Just didn't provide a lot of stimulation.

Care and Maintenance

The plug is easy to care for. You can wash with soap and water, bleach, toy cleaner or put in a dishwasher or boiling water (remove wires first). There are no moving parts or electronics to worry about as the kit is modular.

The patch has a peel off cover...you can reuse it for storage. It is tacky and sticks to your skin. I'm not sure what the lifespan of the sticker is, but if you keep it lint free and covered when not in use, it should last a while. I assume you can wipe it with a clean cloth and mild soap. You could use rubber bands or medical tape if you needed to hold it in place better over time I think.

Packaging

This mainly goes for the controller unit, but there was no packaging. Just a zip lock bag. NO instructions or manual. Really? This is an electrical device. That just blows my mind. It's fairly intuitive to figure out, but even an experienced user like myself was a little apprehensive using something like this on my private areas without directions.

Just make sure when you start using this, you turn the power to the lowest level before turning on the power and work your way up. It can come as quite a "shock" if you just turn it on full blast and cause some pain.

Personal comments

I'm dinging one star just for not having instructions. That's pretty poor. Overall I enjoyed the e-stim. I tried the patch in several areas. Here is a summary.

Perineum. Nice, mild to intense. Vibration and massage are the most enjoyable sensations. Yes, vibration actually kinda feels like a vibrator, even though it's just a little patch. Massage is more like massage...gradual end to end sensation. Ping is like a thumping or water drop falling on you...or more like being pinged with a finger at higher intensities...actually I find it painful if it's attached directly to the testes (think being pinged with a flicking finger). Automatic is like ping, but random intervals. You can adjust the speed too.

The cord for the patch only reaches so far (assume by design). The electricity can probably only have a connection at certain distances apart. It was pleasurable at the base of the penis and on my balls. It wasn't long enough to reach the penis fully. I guess I'll have to wait for the loops to arrive and try that out. Looking forward to that.

I attached to the buttocks, lower back, inner thigh and bikini area. Each was like a massage/tingling feeling and mild contraction. Interesting but not for sexual stimulation. I tried the pubic bone area very briefly but this was more of a shocking sensation and hair might have some interference. I quickly ditched that idea.

Overall, I was disappointed there wasn't more anal/prostate sensation, but it could be my placement of the patch or not the intent of the design. I guess there was a little anus stimulation, but it was overshadowed by the patch area. All in all I recommend e-stim and look forward to experimenting more.

Experience

My perineum and scrotum did feel a little numb after about half hour of use, but feeling returned after awhile of not using it.
Follow-up commentary
Still like this toy and happy I have added more attachments. E-stim is something fun to explore. Would buy it again.

Thanks for all the details. As you mentioned, e-stim is something new for most of us. Unfortunate no instructions were provided. Perhaps so new not out yet. Myself I don't understand how the patch fits in. Some pics of it would have been nice.

    Thanks !

You just peel off the strip and stick it on your body. It's self sticking. I read someone else's review before I used it, since there were no directions and had previously read about similar toys, but no experience first hand.
