Plain and simple, these are handcuffs. Used primarily for bondage acts, they restrain you at the wrists. I think most of us get the point and anyone who has seen an episode of COPS can definitely put two and two together. This is a fairly classic bondage tool, which has a certain charm that some other restraints do not have. It's refreshing to keep it simple and not worry about the buckles breaking on cheap wrist restraints or the pantyhose you used getting runs in them. These handcuffs feature a safety latch, so they are good for beginners who are maybe a bit uneasy about being cuffed. There's also no harm in being safe about it. Anyone else read Gerald's Game??? Anyhow, I would only suggest these be used on delicate wrists, as the opening really isn't all that big, even on the last setting. I have small wrists and even I think the cuffs seem to be small.

I own a few pairs of cuffs that are similar to this. Metal cuffs, with the standard chain and safety latch are fun, easy to find and cheap. I will say that these are crafted better than any other safety cuffs I've ever used. For something so cheap, they really are strong and pretty. The metal seems to be better quality and the overall structure of the toy is awesome. I can't see someone really wearing these out unless the hinges wear on them. They seem really sturdy, though. I don't see such a thing happening to them. They don't seem to get that nasty metallic smell that some get once you've been locked up and started sweating on them. Most of my other cheap cuffs get this funky metal scent, almost like rust (duh). It usually goes away when they are cleaned, but these don't get that smell at all. They do smell like metal, but there's absolutely nothing off-putting about the scent. Again, I would like to point out the size of the cuffs seems a bit small. They seem to be made for females with delicate wrists and might fit bigger, but it would be uncomfortably snug. If you need space, I would suggest finding another pair. For me, it works just fine, as my wrists are tiny.

These cuffs certainly performed well. They can take a real beating and don't feel like they are going to give. The safety latch isn't sticking out so far that you aren't afraid of it breaking off, but it's in a convenient enough place to reach if the time came to use it. I am really impressed at the quality of such a simple idea and would totally suggest these for women who want something simple, but not cheaply made. The chain holds well, the cuffs latch well and the safety latch performs perfectly. They aren't the most comfortable, as they are metal, but that's part of what I like about regular handcuffs. You can never forget that they are there. I love feeling the metal press into my skin when I fight against it. It's something that makes the experience totally different for me than with silk, rope or cloth/leather cuffs.

These really don't require anything special. They are metal, so you won't want to keep them moist. I usually wipe down my cuffs after use, but dry them well after. As far as storage, I just leave them around my house. I hang them off the bed, chairs, stick them in drawers, whatever. You can basically put these anywhere that you want, depending on how discreet you are trying to be. Just keep them out of moist air. They couldn't be easier to care for!

The cuffs come in a small plastic back inside a fancy box. The box is a bit like what you would get with boxed lingerie items. It's secure enough for such a thing, but doesn't make a particularly pretty gift box. It's not tacky by any means, but it does feature a woman sporting the cuffs on one side. No nudity is present, so it shouldn't be offensive. There were no instructions inside, but the product really explains itself. I wouldn't use this box as storage. It's really just too bulky to bother, since the cuffs don't need special care.

I think these are super high-quality for something in this price-range. There's nothing special to them, but they are so well-crafted that I have to make a note of it. I love that they are simple, but still quality cuffs. They are safe, pretty, classic and I am pleased to have them.
