A naughty little bondage kit fashioned out of an ice cream container seemed like a cute idea. My husband's second obsession (after me of course) is ice cream. The packaging is very cute, though the lid never stayed on again after opening and as for the smell of vanilla...um not really there. There may have been a hint of baby powder smell, but that quickly went away. The material is soft and it definitely feels great against your skin. The blindfold is cute, but poorly constructed and a bit flimsy (not what you want in the bedroom...ever!).

This would be a great bachelorette gift or a gift to slowly introduce your partner into the world of controlled play. I think it would be a fun little honeymoon surprise as well. Just like they have "my first vibrator" kits, this certainly fits into the category of beginner bondage.The Vanilla Bondage Kit does make you giggle which is great if you feel like you need a little laughter in the boudoir. The ribbon and blindfold are both made out of a satin-like material so I would not recommend using oil around the kit as it may ruin the fabric. I found the elastic strap on the blindfold to be a bit too long, which required me to tie a knot in the strap.

I just think it was a bit expensive for what it actually was. I have to admit that the excitement dropped considerably after I opened the awesome container to find a boring ribbon and blindfold crumpled at the bottom of the container. The unique packaging was by far the best feature and as I mentioned before, that didn't hold up very well. Fun, yes, exciting...not really. The kit does, however live up to the virgin bondage standards in my opinion.

If you want to spice the kit up you could always bring some real ice cream into the bedroom and tease your tied up, blindfolded partner with it!

Sad to say, but the Vanilla Bondage kit remains crumpled up in the bottom of my toy kit. I supposed I have just evolved much more sexually than I had realized before buying this kit. Again, I will say that it would be a good gift idea or good for beginners, but it is way too boring for a freak in the sheets such as myself, LOL!

I did drag out the silk tie once since my first review and found myself wondering if I should use it for a hair tie. The blindfold can be used on a plane or when sleeping in a bright hotel room. See, this is who I am, always looking on the bright side!
