The Vanilla Bondage kit is a simple bondage kit for beginners. We purchased it in order to try to "give it a whirl" in the bondage area. We didn't want anything leather, kinky or crazy. Just something to add to the bedroom.

The kit contains:
- 1 satin blindfold that has an elastic band for easy fitting around the head
- 2 satin silk ties

Both items are of a creme color.

The items come packaged in an "ice-cream pint" style container.

The Vanilla Bondage kit is a pretty decent set, depending on what you are looking for. My wife and I were just willing to try out a few things in the bedroom and heard that a blindfold would be a great start for some more "fun or kinky" kind of foreplay. We decided on this kit because it comes with a blindfold and some restraints. The quality of this product, I would say, is pretty decent. You DO get what you pay for, so it's not "top of the line" but the material is pretty satiny and smooth nylon. It seems to be well-made as far as the stitching goes, but I wouldn't use it for anything hardcore.

I almost want to compare the silk ties to that of a see-through curtains (only a lot silkier, obviously). But they are see-through. I would say that they are good for participants of any size as they are pretty long. If you plan on using these around ankles and wrists, it will fit anyone. If you choose to use it more around thighs/legs or arms and midsection, these will not fit just anyone.

We tested out the ties on the wrists and ankles and (probably due to the type of material) found it to be rather hard to keep "firm" or a snug fit. The ties untied very easily, without using much movement. The blindfold was nice, but during daytime it lets in quite a bit of light. If you are looking for something that cuts off all light, you may want to go with something a little darker in color or made of different fabric or material.

On the whole, I would say that it's a nice set which suits our needs.
