The Leather Hog Tie by Kink Lab|Leather hog tie - Restraints by Kinklab comes in Red or Black. I was feeling saucy and chose red. Why do people want to be tied up or restrained? The feeling of helplessness can be frightening. It can also be quite hot. I recommend the following when playing with restraints (especially for novice players): play with someone you trust implicitly, never allow them to leave you alone while restrained and have a safeword in place should you want the play to end. You may also consider having a third person, an "anchor" as it were to keep you grounded while you explore this exciting adventure.

I am new to playing with restraints. I can be claustrophobic and so it was a challenge to me to consider reviewing this item. When the Leather Hog Tie arrived, I noticed that at 11 inches from tip to tip, I was a little concerned how comfortable I may be in the usual hog tie position (on stomach, arms behind back and knees bent with ankles overtop your butt). I am a curvy girl after all, and using the Leather Hog Tie with ankle and wrist cuffs likely meant that I would not be able to maintain the position for very long.

My partner got creative and pulled out the rope, cutting strips long enough to tie around each of my ankles and wrists and create a loop for the four rotatable claw hooks of the hog-tie to clip onto (he's pretty smart for a bear). This gave me a little more wriggle room as it were.

What can you do when you're tied up? Physically not a lot - after all, your movement is restricted. This allows you to open up your mind and concentrate on the sensations your partner stimulates you with. Perhaps the tickle of a feather or light fingertips tracing your body? One can also sit on their bottom with their arms in front of them at their ankles and be restrained this way. Either way you choose, this is a fantastic and fun product for BDSM play.
