We've always wanted to try a male chastity device. This is something I've had on my wishlist for a very, very long time, and I just recently decided to purchase it since the Atlanta promotion was going on, and I've been holding off on it forever. I purchased the male chastity belt in hopes of using it with my boyfriend, and while we did use it, it wasn't exactly what we were expecting either.

Something of note is that my boyfriend is a small guy. He's only about 150 pounds while being six feet tall. His hips are just thirty-one inches, so he's definitely on your smaller side of being a guy. He has an average-sized penis while flaccid (2-3 inches) and also has an average sized while erect (5-7 inches). Just a good idea to let you know where we're coming from. While the belt is easy to use and sorta does its purpose, it's not amazingly great at being a really chastity belt. It obviously enforces the thought process behind the belt itself, but it is not very good at actually enforcing chastity.

For one, the belt can be a bit difficult to put on. There are basically three different straps to put on. There's the two straps that go around the waist and connect in the back, and then there's a strap that goes between the legs. This can be very hard to put on yourself as it requires holding the straps really tightly behind your back, so I recommend having a partner around to do this. (Along with that, I never, ever recommend putting yourself in hard-to-escape bondage without a partner around. As this lock can be a bit of a pain to undo without someone else, I recommend having someone else around.)

This belt can be difficult to put on because you have to make it tight. The two straps around the waist have to be pulled in pretty tightly - tight enough to cut slightly into the skin. You see, if you put the belt at the hip bones, it's pretty easy to squirm out of that (especially since males don't usually have too large of hips). You can put it above the hipbones, so it'll be harder to squirm out of it. When you put the belt on, you have to pull the two straps extremely tight then you have to pull the between-the-legs strap into tightness on top of that. You then slip the lock through the metal portion that holds all three pieces together. There's no way to fasten this without using some sort of lock or fastener. (You could use a small clip, for example.) It could be difficult to do on your own. When it comes to the boyfriend, even on all of the tightest settings, the belt was pretty easy for him to slip out of, so we'd need to put in more notches if we really wanted to make sure he couldn't get out of it. He can get out of it pretty easily by pulling the belt down from his hips as it stands.

The pouch is a bit large. There might be guys with really big bulges out there, but we just found that the pouch on this one was just too large. For one, because the pouch is molded, it always sticks out, so this could be awkward underneath clothing. For another, because it's molded and sticks out, it also makes the surrounding leather around the bulge pouch actually pull away from the skin as well. Again, this makes it so the boyfriend can actually reach *under* the chastity belt on the sides to be able to touch his penis. He said it's uncomfortable, but even on the tightest settings (with multiple tries), he's been able to get his full hand under the pouch to touch his penis if he wanted. He can definitely rub through the sides with no problem.

Some chastity belts actually aim to restrict the penis from getting hard in the first place. This one sorta accomplishes this. It depends on your own genitals really. It will accomplish that if the penis is laying sideways or sitting in a more awkward position. It holds the penis that way, and it can't really get erect. However, if the penis is resting normally in the pouch, it is still pretty easy for the penis to get erect underneath the chastity belt, so this belt seems to aim more towards keeping someone from being able to touch their penis rather than keeping it from getting hard.

The belt can be uncomfortable to wear. The boyfriend says that, if you're a bit larger in frame than he is, he thinks these issues won't be problems though. He says that the g-string portion (the between-the-legs strap) can uncomfortably rub your legs. Because on that portion there is actually a lot of thick leather as well as a place where four rivets connect the pieces of leather. This could, obviously, be uncomfortable when rubbing between thighs for a long period of time. He says that if you had a larger frame, he feels like it wouldn't be as painful and annoying as it was for him though.

I have a bit concern about the cleanliness of the item. After all, it is leather, and bodily fluids are bound to happen whether they be sweat or pre-ejaculate or what have you. Leather is pretty much a giant pain to clean, so this isn't as clean as I'd like it to be. You do have to wipe it down with a slightly damp washcloth, and using soap on it isn't really great for the leather. There is leather cleaner at most stores as well. I, honestly, haven't figured out a way to make this amazingly clean yet aside from actually doing some bootblacking or such. For storage, I recommend you store it somewhere where the pouch and the leather itself can breathe to keep it "alive" for the longest possible time.

So, really, it's an interesting item. It does its job for the most part, but it leaves a lot of variance. For one, even though it locks, depending upon your body's shape, you still may be able to escape it easily. Depending upon what clothes you're wearing, the molded pouch can make it obvious that you're wearing this, and I feel like the item would have been better suited to a thick, unmolded pouch. For another, the leather on the sides of the pouch sometimes lift off the skin, so it's possible to fit your entire hand through the sides of the leather chastity belt, so it won't restrict all of the touching. However, it does do a good job of reminding the person that they're supposed to be in chastity, and the idea of being able to wear a (locking) chastity belt is definitely there. It doesn't do an amazing job, but as one of the few leather, underwear-type chastity belts out there, it does an okay job.

We don't use this much - mostly because it doesn't work as a legitimate chastity device to lock someone up. If it fit a bit better, I think it would work better, but for us, if it doesn't really work for pure chastity, it won't work that well.

However, the leather has held up really well in storage, and it doesn't seem to be fraying or having any issues with the design.
