The Inked Restraints Tattoo Ankle Cuffs by California Exotic are used for bondage, to restrain and inhibit the movement of the legs. The texture of the neoprene is smooth and rather pleasant to the touch, which I enjoyed. The pink dragon on the side of the ankle cuffs is very cute. I would recommend these ankle cuffs to someone who is new to bondage. They're a great starting item because of the material and price. For those who wish to experiment, these are easily bought and used, and if said person does not like the experience, minimal money was spent.

The larger portion of these ankle restraints is neoprene. It is soft and plushy, almost foam-like. The strap that circles and holds the metal links of the restraints is nylon. The inside of the restraints is almost completely Velcro, with a long strip that runs down making them completely adjustable. However, the Velcro does rub against the skin, and that does take some getting used to. The restraints are cheap, so bear in mind that when purchasing these, you are paying for what you get.

I love how these restraints were designed. They are very pretty, though the dragons look like “iron on” dragons, so I am slightly concerned about how they will hold up as far as the pattern goes. The restraints are approximately 10 inches long, and somewhere near 4 inches wide. They weigh about 3 oz. While these restraints were made quite “cheaply", they seem to hold up. I put all my weight and force into trying to pull the nylon strap off by grabbing the ring and tugging, and I didn't hear any sign of tearing, nor on closer inspection, saw any sign of them tearing. So far, they have held up well. These restraints are small and flexible enough to hide within a bag when traveling.

There are several pros to these restraints. As they are not expensive, they are good for “testing the waters” of bondage. The material is cheap, but sturdy. I suppose that this is a con and a pro at the same time.

The cons are few. The feeling of the Velcro against bare skin can be rather uncomfortable, though if you wear socks, you won't even notice it. The material of these restraints is cheap, as I have mentioned before.

A nice addition to these toys is a clip on one cuff, that you may connect to the other cuff's ring. Otherwise, you can tether the cuffs to the bed quite easily with the use of the rings on the restraints.

The Velcro left my legs slightly red. They were irritated, but within an hour after taking the restraints off, the redness disappeared. If you don't mind wearing socks during sex and foreplay, doing so will cut down on the irritation that the ankle cuffs may leave. Other than the irritation from the Velcro, these ankle restraints performed quite well for me.

The best way to clean these restraints is with soap and a damp wash cloth. Storage is easy. They can be stored in the box they were shipped in, put in a drawer, or anywhere else you might think of. They can be shared quite safely of course.

The packaging of the toy is very pretty. It has a very cute blond on the front, sitting with the restraints on. The box is mainly red and white, with decorative font text. The box is small, so if you decide to store them in it they can be easily put in a chest, toy box, or a drawer.

I was pretty skeptical of these restraints the moment I pulled them from the box. They looked cheap, and I was quite honestly, scared that they were going to break the first time I used them. Yet, I was strapped up and held down quite easily by these cuffs, and they did not break as I had feared they would. So far they have held up quite well. Other than the minor irritation from the Velcro, I enjoyed these thoroughly.

Again, these restraints are pretty cheap, but they are good for people who are wanting to “test the waters” of BDSM. I like them, but I probably won't replace them if they ever break.

I still like these cuffs. They aren't overly fancy or anything of the sort, but they do the job. They still are slightly uncomfortable, and I have to wear them with socks. However, they still are not too bad for the price paid for them.
