I have always preferred a mouth bit to a gag ball. The look is a lot more sexy and my partners always look so much more submissive. They are best for pony play too. I found the silk scarf easy enough to work with and tie. I surprisingly found in held in place quite well too. The bit made it comfortable for long wear but as I mentioned before my sub talked somewhat coherently, we kissed awkwardly and he could have bit his lip. My sub also commented that the tube had a nice soft hardness to it: tough but with some suppleness to it. The major down side though is that after one time there are visible teeth marks on the tube. And my big complaint: the roses sewn on are at just over 1" from the tube, hence the bit really slides and the roses look silly half way into the jaw bone. This is a sign of mass production and a lack of attentive final touch. We will probably use it until the bit is too damaged and then I will remove the roses and just keep the scarf for bondage ties.

yeah this will never be used again for its intended purposes. I love the purple slash so keeping that for pretty bondage but the bit days are long gone.
