Learnin the ropes!

The best thing about the do not disturb kit is that it can be used in so many ways. While not made of real silk, for only 8.99 you can't beat this kit to make a fun night and experiment with light bondage. Use 4 'silk' ties to gently restrain your lover's wrists, ankles, or use as a sexy blindfold to add some suprise and sensuality to your playtime. Kit also includes a do not disturb doorhanger, that while kind of cheesy, also doubles at a tip guide for using your restraints. For a couple new to restraints this can be very helpful. This kit is definitely made for beginners. More advanced users may not find the quality to be up to par, but for the price, you are certainly getting your money's worth. They are also great for travel, and even the more heavy restraint user may enjoy keeping them around as an extra pair of travel restraints.

The quality of this whole kit is average. There is nothing spectacular about it. It is a cheap kit, that does its job. The red 'silk' ties are definitely not silk. I would guess they are some kind of rayon or polyester but I honestly have no clue. They are soft and not scratchy. They are sewn together with one single thread. You do need to take it easy with these, they are not meant to be heavy restraints. The door hanger is made out of a platic material. On one side is a "do not disturb" sign and on the other is a guide with ways to use your new ties. The card is a bit cheesy and gives off the aura of a gag gift. The ten tips are pretty simple and nothing to crazy or kinky but for the couple who is brand new or slightly uncomfortable with restraints it could be the perfect way to get started. This kit performed as well as I expected an under-ten-dollar kit to perform. The ties are not the sturdiest and are not meant for heavy restraint. The door hanger is basically useless but the tips can be somewhat useful for the complete beginner to this type of play. Don't tie the silk ties too tightly and you should be fine! The ties themselves are soft and comfortable. The material is not scratchy and I didn't have any problems with it cutting into my skin.

These ties do not include washing instructions but I would suggest handwashing and hanging these to dry. The stitching is not the best so I wouldn't put these to the test of a washing machine. The door hanger can be wiped with a damp cloth if necesary. I store mine in the box they came in. You could also store them in a drawer or wherever else you store your play things.

My fiance and I have never tried any sort of bondage or restraints togeter before. He is a complete newbie, and I have one or two not so amazing experiences with restraints. We looked at several different ties here on edenfantasys and decided to get these because of the price. They are the cheapest ties on EF. We knew we would be foregoing quality in order to only spend less than ten dollars. We figured it was worth it to see how we liked it and move up in quality from there. I did use a couple of the suggestions on the door hanger and it was pretty funny but that also helped lighten the mood for us. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed these restraints and we have and will continue to get much more then our ten dollars worth of fun.
