Love at First Bite

It's big, it's black, and it's shaped like the head of a penis. It's also absolutely delicious. The Fantasy Gag is wonderful for anyone who has an oral fixation and wants something besides the standard ball gag to play with. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, because it could be a bit long for some people. But for me, it just barely scrapes my soft palate when I have it securely fastened, so it's just about perfect.

You could also use this silicone gag to penetrate other places because of it's shape. It can penetrate vaginally, but because it's short, it won't stay in without constant pressure from the outside. The flared base also makes it safe for anal play if you wanted to use it for that.

The Fantasy gag is made with silicone, which is body safe and can be sterilized with boiling, a 10% bleach solution, or throwing it through a sanitize cycle in the dishwasher. The straps are made with leather, which is spot-clean only according to the packaging. That's no big deal though since it's so easy to remove them. Silicone tends to be a dust magnet, so you'll probably want to rinse this gag off before inserting it in your mouth as well as cleaning it afterwards.

Everyone, including the package, says that silicone is taste and smell free, but there's a hint of some flavor on my gag that I can't identify. I wonder if it's because it was in the plastic clamshell with the leather straps. The straps weren't separately bagged or anything, so I wonder if the silicone absorbed the taste. I'll have to see if the taste wears off eventually. It's not overpowering, but it is very noticeable when I first insert the gag.

As you can see in the picture, the gag is a pretty good mouthful. The picture is taken next to a standard shot glass for reference.

I am so love with this gag that I could scream... unless I was wearing it. At which point I'd be happy to moan and whine around it. The velcro straps make it easy to remove and very adjustable, so it's safe and easy to use. The silicone itself held up to some heavy biting during playtime and kept me pretty quiet in the process. While there's some minor scratches on it from my teeth, they're almost unnoticeable and aren't even deep enough to feel. The gag itself is large enough that talking around it is pretty much impossible.



This is what could be called a 'pacifier' style gag. The shape keeps it in your mouth comfortably without forcing your jaw uncomfortably wide, but when it's removed you still have some lingering soreness in your jaw that shows that your mouth was full for a while. The outside is comfortable against your face, and only leaves a slight mark that fades really quickly. Personally, I didn't drool very much while wearing this gag. However, when it's removed, you suddenly feel like you're about to drool buckets.

The dildo part of the gag is made of silicone, which rates as a 10 on Eden's material safety list. It's nonporous and can be boiled or put in the dishwasher to sterilize it. However, don't forget that silicone doesn't like itself! So, make sure not to use any kind of silicone lubricant or store it with other silicone toys.

The leather straps that hold the gag in place are not waterproof. If they require cleaning, they can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

Although you could use the packaging to store this toy, I choose not to because leaving the leather in the same package as the silicone makes it taste bad. Instead, I stored the toy in a quart-sized freezer bag and rubber banded the straps to the bag so I could find them easily.

This gag comes in a plastic clamshell with a cardboard piece inside with product information on it. The gag and straps were not separated at all, which lead to the silicone picking up a leathery taste.

The front of the package very clearly tells what the product is, and anyone looking at it can see it's shaped like a penis head, so no, it's not very discreet. However, it is very utilitarian, and you could keep it to store the gag in if you wanted to.


The back of the package has a wealth of information about cleaning and caring for your new gag. Inside there's a piece of cardboard with Tantus's website address on it in case of any other questions.

Thanks to this gag, I was able to enjoy a great play session involving a crop and some other fun toys without having to worry about waking up our kids. I was pleased to see that I didn't drool on the pillow at all, and Dragon was happy with the quick-release nature of the velcro straps which let him undo them without much effort when he was worried about me catching my breath afterwards. We both really enjoyed this product.
