You don't have to have any experience with anything. Ever. Any one can put a mask on and flick a whip around. It's fun to pretend the whip is a cat's tail, if you ask me.

I have a slight issue with the way the mask fits on my nose. Yet I broke my nose when I was 4, so I wouldn't recommend this to someone who gets very heavy in to their role-play, has a bumpy lumpy nose, and doesn't like anything to go wrong. Aside from my own personal features, it's a wonderful material and is nice to the touch. The whip? Oh, boy. Do I just l-o-v-e that thing. But, once again, if you're a klutz like I am — Heed caution. Whipping yourself is not the objective here (Unless it is, then go for it, you've never felt anything like it.)

Performance

I've actually worn the mask for a few dress-up parties now, and luckily no one is any the wiser for what it's used for behind closed doors! I know it gives my partner a kick to see me in it in public places, a kind of secret between us. So if you're in to that, there's an added bonus.
It's a wonderful combination, the mask and the whip; you can be sexy, and flustered, and panicked, and no one will ever see anything but the sexy! It's a win all around!

Care and Maintenance

I have a small box in the bottom of my wardrobe for all my "odds and ends", and other than taking care that the mask doesn't get squashed, it's a breeze to look after. The whip takes a little more maintenance, but then again I'm anal when it comes to cleaning; the littlest trickle of sweat must be removed before it's put away.
