This Kink Lab classic ball gag features an adjustable leather strap and an FDA approved rubber gag ball. The leather strap is sturdy and soft on the side that makes contact with the face. There are plenty of holes for adjusting it, and the ball is a good size for many people. You don't have to be a seasoned user to use this ball gag. It provides a moderate amount of restraint and looks like it means business at the same time.

MATERIAL:
The ball of this gag is made of FDA approved rubber. It has some give to it, like a rubber bouncy ball. The surface is not as smooth, however. It feels more like foam. The material is firm, but it can be bit on comfortably. The product description describes the ball as being pink, but some may find that it is more like a red shade than pink. The rubber does have a rubber smell that seems to decrease over time.

The leather is soft on the side that lies against the face; the other side is smooth. It doesn't stretch at all and, since it is thick, it is sturdy. The hardware on the leather is some sort of metal. The leather smells of genuine lovely leather.

DESIGN/SIZE/FIT:
The ball is 6" in circumference. It's about 2" in diameter, which is fairly normal and average for a ball gag. It's plenty big enough to do the job. The sides of the ball have thin pieces of leather to protect where the strap goes through the ball. This is to help the ball from ripping at these points. The straps are 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick. One side of the straps is 13 1/2" long. This is the one with holes in it for adjustment. There are 15 holes, each spaced 3/8" apart. The other side is 8 3/8" long and has a belt-like buckle on the end. it will fit up to about a 25" circumference, and as small as 14 1/2".

This ball gag fits comfortably enough in the mouth, but it's also just uncomfortable enough to make the wearer drool in a short period of time. It prevents the wearer from speaking clearly or making too many loud objections to whatever deliciousness you are about to do to them. The strap is easily adjustable and can be tightened perfectly, since there are so many notches to choose from.

The ball is porous and should be cleaned before and after use with warm water and a very mild soap, since this goes in your mouth, after all. The leather shouldn't be gotten too wet, but it can be wiped down with a damp cloth if necessary. Store the ball away from similar materials.

The gag comes in a plastic tube container that has a removable top and bottom. A paper insert shows a model wearing the gag and has a little bit of information about the product. It works well for storage.

Note: When you remove the gag from the container, there may be black marks on the ball from the straps transferring dye.

I've never wanted to use a ball gag, but thought it might be fun to try. No harm in that, right? I put the gag on, found it to be really easy to adjust and not that uncomfortable, but it did do the job to make it so I couldn't talk well, etc. However, within about 15 seconds, I could taste the rubber and started to feel a weird tingling around my lips where they made contact with the ball. I do not have a latex allergy and have never had a reaction to latex or rubber products, but this ball seems to irritate my lips. Because of this, I cannot recommend this ball gag to those who do have those kinds of sensitivities. For those who know you won't be bothered by this type of ball material, this is a well made gag that should do the job and last quite a while.
