Use

This little Whipper Tickler is designed to be used by couples during play. You can use one end to tickle your partner with feathers, and the other to whip them playfully. It is meant to be used for light play as it will not hold up to intense use, so if you're looking for something to inflict some serious pain, look elsewhere.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

The Whipper Tickler has two ends; one is a fluff of two different feathers, the other is a stringy rubber whip. It is a fairly small toy intended for light play, the whole thing is about 22 inches long. The feather fluff is about the size of a golf ball with approximately 4 inch long feather pieces sticking out of it. The feathers are not very dense, nor are they real feathers. The feathers are two different colors with the red being a thinner wispy feather and the white pieces being longer and thicker. The end with the rubber whip has about 7 inches of thin rubber strings hanging down from it. The rubber does contain natural rubber latex so those with allergies to latex could have a reaction when playing with this toy. Both ends are connected by a 9 inch long thin plastic rod. It is not the sturdiest of toys, I'd say its a long way from sturdy but for light teasing I find it works quite well.

Performance

A fair amount of people have mentioned the Whipper Tickler's resemblance to a cat toy; While my cat could also enjoy it, I did, too. It is not intended for heavy use, it's more of a playful teasing toy. I'm sure it would break apart with a heavy hand. However, I really enjoy some light tickling and teasing with either end of the Whipper Tickler. The rubber end can have a bit of a sting, but it's not even close to what I would consider painful; I was actually surprised by this. I have found the the rubber end also works well for tickling too. Run it lightly across the skin to get this effect. I am very ticklish so I think that helps.

Care and Maintenance

I would take caution not to get the Whipper Tickler dirty, especially the feather end. There is really no way you could wash the feathers and get them to fluff back up once dry. I think that would be the end of the toy. The plastic shaft and rubber whip portion can be wiped clean with a damp cloth if needed. When we are done playing with the Whipper Tickler it gets placed in a drawer for next time. Take care not to squash it or the feathers could lose their fluffiness.

Packaging

The Whipper Tickler came attached to a thin cardboard backing with the branding on the front and some tips on the back. Very minimal and not reusable, but recyclable. The sexy tips on the back were amusing, and have me looking into a good French Maid costume. One instructs to pretend to be the housekeeper using the feather end to 'dust' while protecting your virtue with the rubber end or using the rubber whip to reprimand poor work habits. It was simple packaging but I wouldn't expect or want more.

Experience

My partner and I have fairly enjoyed the use of this toy. I am very ticklish, so he has had great fun tying me up with our restraint sets and tickling me with both ends of the Whipper Tickler. If I start wiggling too much, or giggling too loud, I get a quick whip from the rubber end. We have found it to be a playful addition to our foreplay routine and is something that we have reached for on several occasions and will continue to do so.
Follow-up commentary
Both my partner and I still really enjoy using the Whipper Tickler. As we are both extremely ticklish it adds a fun layer to bondage play. One of us tickles the restrained partner and if the restrained person starts wiggling or giggling too much a quick flick of the wrist and a little slap from the whip gives a 'stay still' warning. The Whipper Tickler is great for light play, it keeps it fun and we both really enjoy that.

I'm glad you and your partner enjoyed this. I can see the cat-toy resemblance, for sure, but that may even help make it more discreet.
