Whipper tickler - sex toy by Sportsheets - review by Midway through

I bought this product through some Pure Romance consultant lady. However, this is by far a favorite. This looks wimpy, but the tail has rap action and causes a sting. This is by far worth the money for it because you're not paying a lot. The feather end isn't really "ticklish" as much as a soft sensation. But this is great for spicing up a relationship, a little kinky play, or for a starter domme. Note that I say starter domme, not experienced. Because this is only a slightly kinky item and with serious use would probably not stand up to the test.

Material;
There is a feather end with dyed feathers and a rubber whip end. The rubber whip end has a rubber smell and is small sized strands of rubber which, sadly get tangled. So far they have come loose everytime they've tangled though. I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the future. The stick part itself is a plastic that's very bendy, and mine has already bent at an angle from use and will not bend back. This makes me relatively sad.

Use and care;

This is great for sensation play, specifically because you can pop with the rubber whip, and then provide soothing with the feather end. It keeps your "victim" guessing. It has a nice sting without being utterly vicious, and it is great for beginners. It's more forgiving than some floggers can be; this is a combination of the material for it, and the sizing. I think its great size for CBT. I've always liked smaller whips for that because you can be sure that it won't cause so much pain that it becomes unbearable, however it does rap like many floggers do. The rap action is not as bad as it could be though so you don't have to be ridiculously careful or anything. Even hitting relatively hard hasn't left any super serious marks to this date on anyone by me. That's why I consider this more of a kinky toy rather than an actual BDSM toy, and it would not be ideal for an experienced domme (though it looks sissy enough that I doubt an experienced domme would want it). As always, with toys like this, you can pop the flogger part anywhere, but always try to avoid the part of the back where the kidneys are, because this can cause problems longterm. Even though the whip is sissy on this, it is still best to avoid those areas.

As for storage on this, I would use a plastic cover over the whip AND the feathers. For one, the feathers can get smushed and caught on things and then come off. Secondly, the whip part gets tangled.

Sizing, travel, etc;

It's relatively small. Only about a foot long, so it's not huge. It has virtually no weight to it because the connector or stick part is a rather flimsy plastic. If you play on taking it with you for travel, such as in a suitcase or something, I would recommend putting the ends in a plastic and holding it in place with a rubber band. It insures that it won't be caught on anything and that all the pieces will stay untangled.

Special notes;

The rubber end can come unglued, you may have to reglue it. It was obviously not designed for anyone who is a pain slut and enjoys a beating with a cute object. It is really just that-a cute object. It will not hold up to serious play.

My only issue with this is that I've reglued the whip part back into the plastic holder at least 6 times since I've bought it. This is getting ridiculous. I love this toy, so it breaks my heart that it keeps falling apart. It holds up so well otherwise, it's just that the whip keeps coming unglued when I get to excited with it. :(
