REVIEWER'S NOTE: I had to use a completely different e-stim controller to test this because the original remote sent was defective. DO NOT let that deter you from buying this product as one defective remote doesn't mean all will be, and Eden is VERY GOOD at working with defective items as they can. Elecktra is an e-stim toy that has many uses. From heating up your erogenous zones to soothing sore muscles, Elektra packs the zapping punch you need to spice up even the most mundane parts of your life. You can use this to stimulate ANY area of your body. The included gel pads stick to any part of your body. Just ensure that you have all four pads on your skin to complete the circuit.

This item could work for anyone: a novice at E-stim, someone looking to ease muscle pains, or even an advanced user wanting to bulk up their inventory.

As my own note and opinion, since the included remote runs on a disk-style battery, I do not see this remote being able to deliver the kind of power one would really need for an e-stim toy. While the small size of the remote is nice for keeping bulkiness out of the bedroom, I don't think the low-power battery can pack the punch needed.

There's not much to be said for the material and texture of this toy as this is meant for external enjoyment only. The remote is made of plastic. The electrode pads have a gel adhesive on them to allow them to stick to skin well. You will get quite a few uses out of these pads so long as you keep them free of lint, dust, or pet hair. I advise keeping the plastic circles to cover the gel pads with when not in use. This will help keep them free of dirt and dust. The adhesive does not seem to have any latex in it, so anyone with that allergy can rest assured. I am allergic to latex and did not get any red rings, burning, or itching from the electrode pads.

Each pad is about an inch in diameter, and there are for electrode pads to this set. You can take the pads on and off the wiring so that they can be replaced after the eventual breakdown of the adhesive.

The spacing of the wires makes it easy for a user to stimulate a large or small area of the body. From placing them just above the pubic area and just inside the upper thighs to using it on sore neck muscles, you can do anything with this product.

My favorite use of this item is to use it on my lower back and neck. It helps ease the pain as if I were visiting the chiropractor and getting the electro-therapy there.

Being that the wiring is easily wound and tied and the original remote is so small, it would be easier to hide this in a dresser drawer or another small area. They can easily be waived off as a muscle-pain relief device.

Keep in mind, I used a different controller for this. The pads worked GREAT! As long as they are fully touching the skin, you will get full stimulation from these. They deliver electro-stimulation very evenly and well. They work the best if you use water-based lube on your skin before attaching the patches. I have not used any other kind of lube with this toy, but tend to stay away from anything that isn't water-based to ensure I am not breaking down any materials of my toys.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ITEM IN WATER!! YOU WILL ELECTROCUTE YOURSELF!! No one wants to explain to the ER doctor that you electrocuted yourself with an electro-shock toy.

I was not quite adventurous enough to try this device directly on my clit or labia, but some users will love this function. I tried it on non-erogenous zones for muscle relief and also just above my pubic area and on my inner thighs. I also used them in the space just above my areola and nipples.

E-stim toys add a new and exciting level of pleasure to your bedroom life. At first, you will be shocked (pun intended and unavoidable), and need to adjust a bit if you are a first time user. Anyone who isn't new to this will be familiar with that first-time sensation, jumping muscles and wide eyes of wonderment.

The remote I used was absolutely perfect for getting just the kind of tapping I was looking for.

The original Elektra remote has a metal bump on it so it can be turned over and you can get pulsation in your hands.

To clean this item, use an antibacterial toy cleaner to clean off the controller. The pads are a little more difficult to clean off because you can take away the adhesive if you are not careful. Pick off any lint or hair you can and avoid using hot water and soap.

I make sure to store the toy with the plastic coverings on the adhesive to ensure future stickiness and detach the cords from the remote.

This item actually has somewhat informative packaging which is nice. A lot of products aren't very informative or help one understand how to use a toy. The packaging could be used for storage for sure.
