Feather love cuffs by Pipedream - review by Sunny Meadows

I couldn't wait to get these. We had a set before and they were weak. When I first put these on my wrists, they were tight. They seem to fit snug. On the first click I only had 1/2 an inch of play. These would not work for my ankles. These are made for women with average size wrists only, for sure. These are better made and heavier than our first pair. If you’re not careful they can give you a bite. These cuffs are not for beginners. These cuffs are too weak for advanced users. These are for players somewhere in the middle. I this would be okay to take to a dorm room, if you really trusted your partner.

I like the design of these cuffs. I do wish they were a little bigger. They have a red fur lining but no padding. This is not going to keep it from hurting. Just from the cuffs leaving marks on your wrists. The cuffs are made of metal. They are quite heavier than I thought they would be. The link chain between the two cuffs has no gaps. The rivets are solid. The two keys turn nicely. The safety locks work too. The metal is smooth on the top. The edges are sharp. I recommend keeping the covers on these.

You can pull and tug hard on these and the lock holds up well. If you drop them they won't break or bend easily. There is a piece you move to lock the cuffs. I think this is the weak point in these cuffs. It could just be this pair. I am not sure.

These fit snug on my wrists. My wrist measure 6". The average size woman can wear these. They do have the safety lock on this model.

We find these cuffs easy to put on and off. We like the fact that the cuffs kept my hands away. We tether the cuffs to the bed to keep my hand there. You can use them by them self of course. You can use a metal frame to your bed and a rope. You can use your headboard even. They worked very well any way you use them. Our cuffs did not come undone, unless you want them too. All I had to do was push over the little latch. Then release the lock on the side, if necessary. They met our needs for now. They do hurt after pulling on them a while. Rubbing your wrist with some oil after did nicely.

We have used ours in the shower using the shower head to tie them to, but be careful as not to pull too hard. You will break the shower head. Make sure you dry them off really well afterwards. We haven't tried them in the tub yet but I am sure we will get to that.

This is a soft material with a good strength, good absorbency and color retention. Fake fur is machine-washable in cold water. Let them air dry and you're done. Never put any fake fur item in a dryer.

The metal with a lightly damp cloth wipe down. Then towel dry making sure you get all the moisture off. You can store it in the original box or in a drawer. These cuffs are very easy to care for.

The cuffs came in a discreet brown box and label. The cuffs were in a hard formed clear plastic container. You can see the cuffs, so not so discreet. This packaging would be hard to wrap as a gift. Everything is recyclable.

I love it when I can touch, see or even hear what is going on. It takes a person a lot of trust in their partner to do that. It is a great turn on for us both when we get a chance to use these. It brings us closer together. It brings sex to a whole new level, and our relationship follows. My husband likes these better than our last pair. He likes that they are better made. We believe that these are a stepping stone for us. We would like something for both of us. We want cuffs that the wearer can't get out of on his or her own. A sign of total trust in each other.

This travels well. We have used them everywhere. Be sure to always have your safe word.
