The Playful Tickler is small, very small. The picture provided as well as the dimensions make it appear to be bigger than reality. When I received the tickler, I giggled a bit. It came packaged in a small plastic bag with a piece of cardboard stapled to it that told me what it was. I tore the package open and removed the rather small tickler. The tickler end is made of soft feathers and as soon as I fan my fingers over it it shed a little bit. I ran it over my arm to feel the sensation that it provided and I immediately got goosebumps. For being so small it definitely provided one heck of a gentle sensation.

Using it for the first time was phenomenal for both me and my partner. Running the feathered end over my partner's body caused shivers, goosebumps, and served to arouse her a bit. The tickling sensation also served to calm her a bit and made her body more sensitive to the touch. The tickling sensation, for me, caused arousal and hardened nipples. Though small and seemingly useless, the playful tickler definitely serves the purpose of sensitizing skin and heightening the senses a bit.

The feathers, though they shed the first time they were touched, ceased to shed after and during use. The handle is easy to control, slim, and not highly flexible. The rigid form of the handle makes it easier for handling and for keeping a grip on it while in use. The feathers are extremely soft and really do serve to heighten sexual arousal and sensitivity.

The Playful tickler is available in different colors, as I received a pink tickler and the one pictured is purple. I am not sure of the other colors available as there is no option to choose a different color on the site. It is also easy to store and extremely discreet.

My only complaint about this tickler is the fact that it sheds. I stored the tickler with my other BDSM toys and it seems to snag and shed at its own will. The feathers are light and wispy, so I expected such a thing to happen over time. All in all, though, this tickler does wonders for teasing and tantalizing despite the shedding and loss of numerous feathers.
