With this toy you definitely get what you pay for, maybe a little more. But what can you truly expect of a feather tickler? It works well for its purpose. My husband loves to be tickled, so we used it on each other. We take turns tickling each others back mostly, you can also used this on other body parts, pretty much anywhere you like (externally that is). It feels good and tickles very very well. It's great for sensory play.

It comes packaged flat, in a plastic sleeve, which I kept for storage. After you removing it from the packaging it fluffs up easily. The feathers are very soft and there is no odor to them.

It comes in several bright vibrant colors. I believe purple, hot pink and turquoise. My tickler is hot pink (I bought 3, 2 hot pink and 1 turquoise)

Be careful to not get the feathers wet, they can and do stain, as they stained my bathroom counter top when they got wet.:/ Not that this should be an issue, but just in case you want to wash it or something. Being feather, you can not wash it as far as I know without ruining it. If for some reason your feathers do get wet, I would blow them dry or at least make sure that they don't come in contact with anything that they could ruin. As far as care and cleaning, there is really none. I just toss mine in the panty drawer.

As far as durability, I soon noticed that some of my feathers broke or fell off. Even when I took two out of the packaging there were loose feathers in the plastic sleeve, both times. There are plenty of feathers and it is pretty thick and fluffy. They are secured to the wand with glue but from what I can tell there are some that aren't as well secured in the middle, like they are wedged in, that can dislodge.

The wand is made of a hollow black plastic, similar to a straw,in size but more stiff. It is only about 6" in length. I found it pretty hard to spank with it, but you can "snap" it pretty well.

So I would recommend this to individuals or couples who enjoy being tickled. It is not extremely durable but it serves its purpose and is very affordable:) It is also a pretty "innocent" toy. My toddler has grabbed it and I have no concerns about her finding it, now or ever:) If someone were to see it in your room or anywhere else they wouldn't necessarily know that you use it for bedroom play. Hell I use mine as a bun holder in my hair! It's also good for that and a cute hair accessory LOL

We enjoy tickling each others faces, backs, inner arms and thighs. He especially likes if on his face, like his forehead and eyelids. I prefer it on my stomach, back and sides. It feels amazing wherever you wanna go exploring with it. I made sure to buy extra when I bough mine. Good product or your money.
