This is a wonderful product. Beginner, or not, everyone should have this in thier room. It's a great product to start with, it's inexpensive, strong material, it's fun to see your partner laying there and they can't go anywhere and knowing you're in control. I'm still going to give this 5 stars even though you can't change the cuffs, but the cuffs are still comfortable so I don't mind.
I'm getting into the BDSM scene and I'm taking my partner with me. I love when my partner takes control of me, but there are days that I take control of him and he loves it. I was dying to try this product but everytime I went to purchase it, it was out of stock. When the package came to my door I was exicted. I had a new surprise for hubby.
Let's get to the product before I tell you the rest of my story. Sportsheets has made a bed bondage restrtaint kit. This product is made to restrain your loved one, so they can't go anywhere and you can take total control. This is more for beginners because you can get your self out. It can be used by advanced users as well. This isn't a heavy restraint; it's more of a light restraint. For a beginner it might be considered heavy. This is intended to be used on a bed. It will fit any size bed (twin, queen, or king). You have to adjust it to the right size.
The design of the restraints is really simple. It's like a giant letter "H". The material is made out of polypropylene webbing, ABS plastic hardware, hook and loop, combined polyester velcro fabric. It's very strong and it will last you a while if taken care of properly. The cuffs are attached. They cannot be removed or changed into your favorite cuffs.
The wrist and ankle cuffs are very comfortable, they can be loosened and tightened how you want and feel comfortable. They don't leave bruises. They do open and close easily because it has velcro.
My bed is a queen size bed and I didn't even have to adjust it when I took the product out of the packaging. All my fiance and I did was take it out, take the mattress off the bed and place it down evenly. We placed the mattress back on the bed. Then, we flipped the cuffs on to the top of the bed and we were done. All there was left to do was to adjust it to either my size or hubby's size.
Later on that night, I did something I rarely ever do. While hubby was taking a shower I decided to take out a few toys. When he came back in I was ready. I was standing there with my flogger. He just looked at me and smiled. I told him to lie on the bed. As he did so, I climbed on the bed and sat on top of him. I kissed him and started strapping him up.
He couldn't move anywhere, and just to make it more sexy and mysterious I blindfolded him. As I started pouring drops of my Toko lube on his body he squirmed, since it was cold, but he couldn't move. I licked him, sucked him and kissed him and as much as he wanted to pull my hair or fuck me or just touch me he couldn't.
Suprisingly, with all the moving while I started bouncing on him, the restraints were the same as I left it. It didn;t move anywhere. It didn't get loose.
I haven't needed to clean this, but I know for a fact this material after a few washes will mess up just a little bit but it will still be sturdy. If the velcro does get close to it, it will pull the material and you will have strings coming out. This can easily stay on your bed, and no one will know its there. I honestly forgot it was on my bed today. Then, when I was changing my covers, I realized it was there.
If you don't want to leave it on your bed you can put it right back in the box it came in and just hide it in your closet. Putting the box in your drawer will take up space so I wouldn't put it in there.
The packaging is just a cardboard box with a picture of a female in the restraints. It's not very discreet but it is a nice looking box to have. It can also be recycled if you don't want to keep the box. The box has some information on it about how to put the restraints on and how long the straps are, and what the material is and a little snippet of a story, which is very interesting.
