This restraint kit is intended to be used to secure your lover during foreplay and/or sex. The main connector strap is placed under your mattress while the wrist and ankle straps can be placed at the top and bottom or sides of the bed. You can use either or both sets of straps at once.

According to EF these restraints are made of nylon (the ropes themselves), plastic (the buckles) and faux fur (the inside of the cuffs). To be more technical the box that the kit comes in specifies that the materials are Polypropylene webbing, ABS plastic hardware and hook and loop, combined with polyester velboa fabric.

I really dig the faux fur. I appreciate that while we are using this to tie each other up we don't have to be totally uncomfortable. We don't dig BDSM toys that cut into our wrists.

These seem to be made fairly well and I haven't had any issues with tearing or anything up to this point.

When I first opened these restraints they had a bit of a strong odor (I suppose from the nylon). I separated them from the rest of the items in that particular order and let them air out. When my man first checked them out a couple of days later he also commented on a bit of a smell. After using them for a few weeks I am definitely no longer bothered by the smell and it seems to have dissipated somewhat.

While browsing EF I noticed quite a bit of restraint sets. I decided to go with this set from Sex & Mischief by Sportsheets because they are affordable, looked simple and I'm a fan of the line.

I recently switched from using a full to queen size bed. While reading reviews I noticed that these had been used by other couples with queen sized beds. I also read that they were good for those who aren't using a bed frame. When I switched bed frames I also skipped setting up a bed frame for my current mattress and box spring because my man and I totally wrecked my last bed frame.

My fiance and I are into light BDSM. This is our first restraint set and we've definitely been enjoying it. We use the arm restraints much more often than using them in combination with the ankle restraints because due to an almost one foot difference in our heights we need our legs when getting busy.

I do find that while trying to restrain his arms he often wriggles around anyway. From reading even more reviews it's come to my attention that it's recommended that if you don't have a bed frame that you should find another way to secure these. I don't have a good way to do so at this time so I usually just have to make the wrist restraints tighter.

All in all we have a lot of fun with this set and I plan to get some more intricate restraint systems in the future.

There aren't any care directions listed on the box for this set. According to EF the nylon straps can be washed with sudsy water and the plastic buckles can be wiped clean with alcohol or antibacterial soap and hot water. Faux furs are usually machine washable but not in this case since they are attached. The cuffs close with velcro. Velcro can be cleaned with a small comb.

I simply leave this set connected to my bed with the restraints tucked against the front and back of the bed most of the time. When I am away from home for at least a few days I hide them under the mattress since I do not live alone.

These restraints come in a stylish black, white and gray package featuring a pretty model wearing the restraints. Usually when I buy something like this the model will show you how to use the item. However the model is definitely more decorative on this box. The photos of her show her casually lounging in the cuffs and simply holding them in her hands.

The back of the box features the first part of a story entitled "Happy Anniversary" about a couple using these on their anniversary. If you want to read the full story you have to scan the QR code on the box.

The box also features two drawings of a bed and the restraints being used on it. When my man and I first set these up we wondered if you were supposed to place the cuffs coming up from the top and bottom of the bed or from the sides. These drawings show that you can use these straps either way.

The box also lists the length of the four straps (60" each) and the connector strap (also 60"). According to EF these straps are 2" wide and weigh .4lbs.

You could store this kit in the box but I prefer to just leave it attached to my bed.

The whole minimalist and not too risque tone of the box are probably so that it's easier to sell at novelty stores. I think that it also makes a cute gift for a couple that you know are interested in dipping their toes in BDSM.
