Ever wanted to tie someone down on a bed and do unmentionable things to them? Oh, you don’t have a four poster bed? No headboard? Fear not friend that is the exact problem the Sex and Mischief bed bondage restraint kit solves! This kit is made to fit securely under your mattress to hold your partner steady. You won’t need any special tools to install it, it will fit under any sized bed, and it even comes with the cuffs. The kit is non-intimidating enough for beginners, but also durable enough to be used by advanced users.

This kit is actually all one piece. It consists of four long 65 inch straps securely sewn to one long 65 inch connector strap made of polypropylene webbing. When laid out flat it looks like the letter I. Each of the long straps have plastic sliders that allows you to adjust the length to fit your mattress size, and to give you control of how much your partner can move. The middle strap also is adjustable giving you the option to install the kit vertically under your mattress or horizontally. The connector strap cannot be adjusted while in use without lifting the mattress, (and who wants to do that?) but the long straps used to secure your partner can. The sliders are located towards the ends of the straps near the cuffs, so if you want to give your partner some extra slack for movement, and then you change your mind all you need to do is give the end a tug until you are satisfied. You can also slide the long straps around the corners of the bed to pin the arms over the wearers head and to keep the legs together.

At the end of each of the long straps are four 14 inch cuffs (including the Velcro strap) made of polyester and are secured on with Velcro. The inside is lined with a very thin fake fur which makes them very comfortable to wear and will not chafe or leave marks. Because the cuffs Velcro on they are easily adjustable and will fit a wide range of ankle and wrist sizes. Unfortunately they are not removable.

The ‘you get what you pay for’ line goes out the window with this restraint kit. It far exceeded all of my expectations, and it doesn’t carry a hefty price tag. The kit is easy to set up, comfortable, durable and convenient. Once installed you can simply tuck the ends under the edge of the mattress and it will be ready to use next time without having to rig up anything else. It held fast to some vigorous pulling and struggling without the slightest hint of give. The kit is also versatile giving you a large range of options to secure the wearer when in use.

This kit requires minimal maintenance. You can spot clean it when necessary by using a damp rang, but you also have the option to machine wash it in a lingerie bag if it needs a good cleaning. Storing is super simple since you can simply tuck the ends under your mattress so they are ready for your next section, but if that is not an option, you can store it in any dry place like a drawer or bag.

The kit comes in a black and white box with a woman on the front smiling (I can only assume she is watching her partner take of their clothes with that smile she is sporting) and the name of the product contained inside. The back of the box shows the same woman this time sporting a pouting seductive look as well as some simple instructions, and the start of a story that can be finished by scanning the QR code provided. The box isn’t particularly discreet and everyone who lays eyes on it will know your exact intentions.

I hate to admit this, but I can’t really assemble or put anything together so when I dumped out the contents of the box I received I let out a huge sigh. I had no idea how I was going to put this pile of straps together.





Luckily everything was already together for me, and figuring out how to install it was so easy I didn’t even need the instructions on the back of the box.

Usually I am the one being tied up, tied down or restrained in some kind of way because my husband has easily broke or freed himself of everything else I have tried to keep him in so I quit trying-until I got these. I asked him very nicely if he would “test the durability, you know for review purposes” and thankfully he obliged. He pulled, he tugged and he struggled like mad, but he didn’t go anywhere. I was so delighted that I grabbed a blindfold to put on him and…well you can use your imagination here. Trust me when I say this was worth it and I would recommend it to any one!
