Latex dental dam

I wasn't impressed by this item at all. Don't waste your money on this. It was just something to try out. We did and it was really stupid. If I could I wouldn't give it any stars.

somewhat useful review
I honestly think this is the stupidest purchase I have ever made. The product was very interesting. It's like a condom for giving or getting oral intercourse. It's made out of latex which is very porous so this is more like a one time use product. It isn't lubricated so, if needed, have a bottle of water based lube ready.

When my fiancee used this on me she didn't use lube at first. Without the lube it moved everywhere and didn't stay in place. She ended up using lube. She rubbed it all over my member and then put it back on. It did still move around but not as much as before.

The taste was horrible. It's vanilla flavored but it tastes just like rubber. It didn't have a vanilla taste at all. The smell was different. There is a trash bag you can buy that is scented like vanilla and this product smelled exactly the same. I honestly think this is a waste of $2. I would rather buy flavored condoms and edible lube than this.

This does have some good points, though. Let's say you are having intercourse and your partner doesn't want to go down on you until you clean it. Instead of wasting all that time, you can just take out the dental dam, cover the area, and they can go down on you without getting any fluids or bacteria.

The packaging was very simple. It came in something almost like a ziploc bag. It also came with a piece of paper that had some information about the product. There is also an expiration date, so watch out for that.

Follow-up commentary
There really is no need for me to follow up on this, but it breaks easily, moves a lot, even if you have lube holding it down. It's a waste of money and time.

Uhm, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but dental dams are best used for analingus and cunnilingus, not fellatio...perhaps that's why you had some trouble with it (and it's always a good idea to apply lube on the receiver's side, which helps increase sensation for them through the latex).

Thanks for the review though, good to know these don't taste that good.

It sounds like you used this on a penis. This wouldn't be considered "safe sex" at all on a penis since there would be gaps and holes. This is more meant for vaginal and anal use.
