Lover's super strap harness and silicone probe - dildo harness by Cal Exotics - review by Bon Bon

I got this strap on as an introduction to fucking my boyfriend. He recently expressed interest, so I took the initiative; I searched all over for an affordable dildo made of relatively safe material, and this was right in my price range, even though TPR silicone’s not quite as safe as I’d like it to be. If you buy this product, be sure to wash the dildo after each use in warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner. And don’t share this particular toy, unless you always cover it with a condom. Also, because this item is a from a silicone, use only a water-based lube.

The best part of this toy is the double harness itself; the straps are comfortable and very easily adjusted, and the dildo stayed in place the whole time we were using it. Since my boyfriend is vegan, we had to look around for harnesses that weren't leather, and the material this harness is made of seemed rather sturdy. The padding up front felt snug and allowed for just the right amount of movement, but it is removable if it starts to get in the way. The straps on the leg didn't pull or constrict my legs.

It was pretty easy to figure out how to put the harness on, since the box came with a colorful illustration of a woman wearing it. I didn’t have much trouble at all, even with it being my first time to strap it on. The ring in the harness is interchangeable, but is only 2" in diameter, and the harness only comes with one. For more variety, you will have to buy more O rings. The harness is machine washable, as well, so it doesn't take a long time to clean.

The dildo itself is bright red and has these crazy ridges that look like waves or wax dripping and a curved tip; even though it was made for vaginal intercourse, it worked okay for anal. If I had a choice, though, I’d go for a dildo without the curved tip, as the tip made it a little more difficult to insert. The dildo’s width is perfect - it's 5" around - though the length, 6 1/2" of insertable length, is actually a little too long for a beginner. We may end up buying a smaller dildo, as my boyfriend only likes the first few inches. For a beginner, a smaller dildo may be your best best as well. But for someone more experienced with anal play, I bet the size would be just right.

Overall, this dildo and harness were okay for an introduction to anal play, but I think they’d work better for vaginal sex or maybe someone more experienced with anal. I think the curved tip and the unique ridges on it would feel excellent for G-spot stimulation. The harness itself is a good buy, though, and with some more O rings, I think anyone would benefit from adding it to their collection.

As I've become more used to using the harness, my partner's become more used to the large size of the probe. We're still looking around for something a little smaller, but he has been able to enjoy this size.

The harness itself has held up well, though it is a little difficult to work out where all the straps go in the heat of the moment. Once on, the harness feels comfortable and natural.

I'd still recommend this harness to beginners, but not the probe.
