The James Deen signature cock is a large, realistic dildo molded from the man himself. The toy has a harness-compatible suction cup base which doubles as a convenient handle. Since it also features a likeness of Mr. Deen's testicles, it is quite safe for both anal and vaginal use, if you can manage to fit it and if you can look past its shortcomings.

The James Deen signature cock is made of Sil-a-Gel, a soft, squishy variety of PVC. Although it has non-toxic and anti-bacterial properties, it is still a porous material. It is latex-and phthalates-free, but it cannot be fully sterilized by way of boiling, bleaching, etc. Those miniscule pores can store a variety of germs and the slightly sticky surface of the material is a magnet for dust, dirt, pet hair, and any other nearby small objects. It must always be rinsed before and after each use, even when stored in the included drawstring bag. If you plan to share this toy between partners or between orifices, please cover it with a condom.

In addition to being relatively unfriendly to our delicate parts (Sil-a-Gel scores only a 5 out of 10 on EdenFantasys safety scale), this material reeks. I've had the toy for nearly ten months and still, even in the cloth bag, even in the drawer of my bedside table, the sickly sweet stink is noticeable from within a few feet. I can hardly stand it even when it's not being inserted into my body. This toy is firm, but has a bit of give when squeezed and is quite floppy and flexible. The texture of the material is quite realistic, if your eyes are shut and your nose is plugged.

Although all of the negative qualities of the material might be worth dealing with for an otherwise perfect insertable, I regret to inform you that this dildo has issues in other departments.

I chose the Sil-a-Gel version of the James Deen dildo because its coloration and realism were very visually appealing to me. The toy also comes in a silicone version, sans suction cup and without the realistic coloration of the veins and the glans. However it does come with a vibrating bullet, while the Sil-a-Gel version does not. Although I still prefer the look of the Sil-a-Gel version, I completely regret not purchasing the silione version of this toy. The smell negates the visual appeal of its design.

The shape of the dildo is lovely, as is Mr. Deen himself. At 8 1/2" in total length, it boasts 6 1/4" of insertable length. It has a fairly tapered head, about an inch and a half at the corona, widening to a a little over 2" in diameter at its thickest. It narrows again at the base, providing an intense feeling of fullness when inserted completely. It is quite hefty, weighing in at a little more than a pound.

It is quite a large dildo that is not suitable for beginngers, in my opinion. If you are curious about larger toys or you already love to be stretched and challenged when it comes to insertables, this item might be a good fit. It is not discreet or suitable for travel, unless you're incredibly bold. More power to ya!

As a large insertable, this toy is quite effective. It stretches you wide, slowly, but surely. You cannot avoid g-spot stimulation when you're stuffed so full, but those who prefer more pinpoint pressure will be left wanting. The suction-cup base or the balls work well for gripping when inserting and its downward curve can be enjoyed facing upright or upside-down. I found the suction cup to be unreliable in remaining stuck to a surface during use, though it seats itself well in an O-ring harness. Its realistic feel is enjoyable, but it's smell is, frankly, unbearable.

Even storing this toy in its included drawstring bag cannot protect it from lint, dirt, and dust attaching to it at every opportunity. Rinsing with soap and water before and after each use will help to avoid transferring germs, despite the toy's sticky, porous material. Take special care to clean around the head of the toy, as well as the base, where bodily fluids and other gunk may collect in the indents. Use water- or silicone-based lubricants as you will.

The toy comes in a large, attractive black cardboard box, featuring images of James Deen and the dildo itself, as well as a variety of product information. The toy is inside of a plastic shell within the box. Please recycle both and make use of the large drawstring storage sack that is included.

Personally, I am unable to just grab and insert this toy without a significant warm-up. It's a dealbreaker for me. I've always viewed James Deen as average-sized and attainable, but this dildo is just too big for me to use comfortably on a regular basis. I find the odor disgusting and I just cannot get past it. I won't be adding any more Sil-a-Gel items to my collection in the future. This toy was a big disappointment. It would have been divine in a smaller, more manageable size and in a more body-friendly material.
