Looks good - Smells bad!

This toy is good for size queens but it's simply too smelly to enjoy. Forget the suction cup and get the silicone version instead.

somewhat useful review
I had high hopes for this dildo but I wish I would have gotten the silicone one. When I received this in the mail, my first observations were that it's a very heavy toy and the massive box that it comes in isn't discreet at all. It's got James Deen all over it and has the actual size photo of the dildo on it as well. I have been a James Deen fan for a long time and so I was very excited to try this toy. I knew I had to try it immediately once I received the dildo. As soon as I opened the box, I found what would be the ultimate downfall of this toy.

Now, this thing is big. I mean really big. If you're a beginner, steer clear! I prefer a bit of girth (for reference, Tantus O2 Cush is ideal girth for me) but this was a challenge even for me. My problem was that even when trying to warm up for this big boy with a vibrator, even having this toy out of the package in the same room as me was a total turn off. I'm not sensitive to smells at all, but this thing is absolutely gross. The smell makes my stomach turn & from there, there's no getting into the right headspace to use a large toy like this. I had even seen all the reviews that complained of the smell, but thought that they must just be sensitive to it.

Take this word of advice, if you have no sense of smell, get it, otherwise think very carefully about why you're getting this one over the silicone version. I enjoy the suction cup feature, which was the primary reason I chose this over the silicone version, but the smell is so off-putting that it ruins the whole process. I've ended up throwing it out after only about 4 uses. What a shame.

    Congratulations on your first review!

Wow, what a shame is right! As soon as you opened it and found it too smelly, you should probably have returned it and used the credit to put toward the silicone one. Did you know you can return within 60 days? That's a lot of money to toss out, I feel badly for you. But I want to thank you for really warning people! Telling us how you read and dismissed the other reviewers complaints of smell because you're not sensitive, really drives home the point of how terrible this thing smells. I am afraid of anything that smells that bad; it can't be safe to out in your body, let alone be breathing those fumes!

Interestingly, Dildology.org tested this to see if it really is free of pthalates as it claims, but they found them. Doc Johnson claims they made a mistake and so it's going to be tested again, by another independent lab. Check out the site to see the results! Finally, there is a group testing the veracity of manufacturer claims (they are a new non-profit, but are creating a public access list of toy ingredients! The first they tested was this toy.)
