Allow Me to preface this by saying: I LOVE STRAP-ONS!!! I love using them on My partner when they are of either gender *WEG* and REALLY love it when they are open enough to use one on Me.

Ok, now with that said, let us continue with the review. When I first received this product, one of the snaps immediately broke. Now, normally, I would completely freak out, send it back, and demand a replacement. However, being the crafty person I am, I fixed it myself and continued on with My Spring Break. You see, this product was an integral part of My 9-day vacation. In fact, Spring Break practically hinged on it. I was not going to allow a broken snap come between Me and My visualized outcome. So, I corrected the issue and persevered.

The plush pad that backed the dildo was comfortable enough to withstand pretty vigorous pounding; however, I've already enough cushion for the pushing, if you get My drift. I'm not skinny, but I'm not fat, either. I've got My own padding over My pubic bone to help soften the abuse I put it through on a regular basis (plus I like the pain when I get rough), so that helps. I know the plush pad has a pocket for a bullet vibe (which is not included) and that is something I will be looking forward to getting in the near future to test with this product, but that is for the next review. The pad is easy to clean, just remove the nylon straps, the metal cock ring, and toss it in the wash (I would suggest delicate cycle) and tumble dry (low heat) for best results.

The nylon straps… *laughs* I'm not a big fan of nylon straps, period. They're itchy, course, and don't love your skin. Besides, after a while, they can start chafing something fierce. However, they are easy to care for, easy to replace, and, if you have to cut them off for whatever reason (and that reason will indeed come up eventually) a knife goes through them easier than it does leather. The “buckles” (for lack of a better word) are relatively quick-release, and hold the straps well without slipping too terribly much during vigorous use. A damn cloth and a couple of quick scrubs with warm water and antibacterial soap followed by a quick rinse, and the nylon straps area clean. Just lay them out flat to dry. Nylon straps have a nasty habit of melting when exposed to too much heat, so drying them in a dryer or near a woodstove/heater/fireplace would be a bad idea.

The metal dildo ring that is included can be sterilized in the dishwasher, or boiled. Quick and easy. You can also purchase different sizes of rings in a variety of materials to accommodate a plethora of dildos so that you won't have to stick to just the one it came with.

Speaking of dildos… The 7-inch dildo it came with is definitely something I must spend time on. It's made from fire-engine red PVC and is absolutely a sight to behold. Cleaning is a snap with its smooth shape, just soap it up with warm water and anti-bacterial soap and rinse it well, and you're good to go. You can use either Water- or silicone-based lubricants with it. It's easy to insert, both anally and vaginally, but – as with any toy used anally – one should be particularly fastidious about the use of condoms and the cleansing of the toy used, both before and after. Once secured in the harness ring and strapped to the hips, the dildo doesn't move, even with vigorous and/or rough use.

I bought this product for My boyfriend and I to use over Spring Break. He wanted Me to use it on him over the course of 9 days, as a way for him to show how much he loved Me. Now, I'm into some pretty kinky things, but in all My years of sexual activity with both men and women, I've never had a man offer Me his ass as a sign of his love and devotion.

The first time I used the Red Rider on him, I swear I thought My head was going to explode. I was so high on the feeling of being able to penetrate this most taboo place on him that I actually had to stop and take several breaths to steady Myself. I'm a damn good Top and a very competent Dominant, but this experience was almost too much for Me. Lord and Lady…

By the end of the 9 days, we were both addicted to it, and to each other once again. He uses his ass as a way to coerce Me into doing things I've never done before, like conquering My fears. I think it's a win-win situation.

It's been about a year since I wrote my first review on Sophia's Red Rider, and I must say I am still in love with it . . . and my boyfriend . . . and pegging him. The only issue we have found is that he has become rather sensitive to the lube we've been using, so we've had to set out on a search for a lubricant that won't cause a burning sensation during use.

Aside from that little wrench in the works, the Red Rider has maintained its shape, color, form, and (unfortunately) nylon strap itchiness.

Adding the bullet vibe to the pouch has indeed brought in a whole new sensation; however, it also introduces another bump in the road, so to speak, and leaves both of us open to bruising that is *not* wanted.

It still remains easy to clean, easy to store, and easy to don and remove; and I am all for that. Ease of use is my friend. I would still recommend it to those watching their pocketbooks but who are still looking for an affordable package to either start out with or to add to their existing collection.
