Red Pokey Dong

This harness set would be best for a beginner looking for a harness for occasional use. The dong that comes with the kit is horrible (in my opinion) and will be best used as garbage. I suppose you could keep it for a solo toy if you like PVC. Luckily you can put another harness-compatible toy in the o-ring for a more enjoyable experience.

The dong itself is made of a bright red PVC. It does has a smell out of the package, but not as bad as other PVC toys I've sniffed. It is very firm, stiff, and smooth. It's a fairly average-girth dong. At its widest point it's about an inch and a half in diameter, but most of the toy isn't that wide. It's too long in my opinion for strap-on play at 7 inches being insertable. Since the toy doesn't vibrate, you could use it in the shower, pbut I wouldn't suggest getting the metal pieces of the harness wet since they could rust. The harness is made of nylon and a soft neoprene plate. The nylon straps are rough and could chafe after some time.

Overall I think this is a cheap but effective harness. The straps are adjustable and really will fit most people up to a 52 inch waist. There are buckles that slide to adjust the size and they stay put fairly well to keep from needing to adjust during use. The straps aren't the softest, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to skip this one or wear boyshorts underneath. The o-ring is attached with snaps so you can swap it out for another ring to fit any size of a dong. The one it comes with is one and three quarter inches in diameter. No component of this is high quality and won't hold up over time.

This harness will fit a good range of users. If fits me pretty well. I have about a 32 inch waist. It will fit up to a 52 inch waist, so the straps are very long after adjusting it to a smaller size. You can trim the straps some if they get in the way. I found that they did. It's not the most comfortable considering the rough nylon straps, but it does work.

This set worked well for what I bought it for. I wanted something inexpensive to try a strap-on for the first time. I had low expectations at the time so it worked well for that. A more advanced user will be disappointed by this set. By now I have trashed the dong and use the harness rarely with another, higher quality toy. Toys are easily secured but the dong that comes with the set is a little heavy and that can cause some sagging if it's not adjusted properly. You can use this in a variety of positions ,but the dong is curved and pointy, so I found it uncomfortable most of the time. Once I used it with a different toy, it was fine. The straps adjust easily for simple on and off.

This harness is fairly simple, so it's easy to clean. I wipe the straps down if they need it, but the front padding should be washed if dirty. Hand washing will make it last longer, so that's what I do, but I suppose you could machine wash it. The dong is PVC, so clean it well before and after every use. I use toy cleaner, but you could wash it with soap and water; just make sure to wash the soap off well. Since it's a more porous material, the dong should not be shared unless condoms are used. If you intend to use this for anal, I'd suggest condoms for easier cleaning. I store the harness in a drawer with other sex-related wear. I stored the dong in the garbage.

I found that the dong was too long and pointy for good control. When this was used on me my cervix was assaulted by jabs of pain. I like shorter, more rounded toys. In my opinion shorter toys are better for strap-on play. You may feel differently.
