Pack 'n play No.2 - realistic dildo with flared base discontinued by Tantus - review by charletnarouh

This is a realistically styled silicone dildo designed to be used for packing and for sex, primarily for strap-on sex. It's softer and much more flexible than most silicone dildos but firm enough to be used for penetration. It's definitely a bit more "play" than "pack" but in the right pair of underwear it would theoretically work for packing as well. The flexibility lends itself to more interesting positions than are possible with most dildos while still being rigid enough to be pleasurable. It has a flared base, making it perfect for o-ring harnesses and safe for anal play.

The Pack 'N Play is made, like most Tantus toys, of top quality medical grade silicone. Silicone rates a perfect 10 on Eden's safety scale. It's hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, and can be easily cleaned and sanitized. More on this is the "care and maintenance" section. This dildo is mostly matte silicone with slightly glossier finish to the head. The toy is very realistically shaped with the soft flexibility adding to the realism. The dildo is very plush and squishy, easily bendable. It is lightly veined with a realistic, but not overly prominent head. Silicone does retain heat very well and this toy warms up to body temperature beautifully.



Like all silicone, this toy has no odor or taste.

The toy is very realistically shaped. It's easily the most realistic toy I've ever owned, but I'll forgive it. More on this in the "Performance" and "Experience" sections.
The soft, plushy material of this toy reduces the effects of the vein detailing and the realistic head in use.
The Pack 'N Play measures 5 1/2" long and 1 1/2" in diameter. These manufacturer's measurements are accurate to my measurements of my toy. This is almost identical to our 02 Mark. Indeed, the two seem to be made from an identical mold with the material softness being the only difference I can find between the two.












The size of the Pack 'N Play should be suitable for average users. Because this toy is squishier than the 02 Mark, it doesn't quite feel as large and imposing as Mark so the size is little more comfortable in my opinion.
Due to the extremely realistic appearance of this toy, it is not discreet at all. While there really is no practical reason not to travel with this toy (no buttons to be accidentally pressed and nothing that could be easily damaged) if you're concerned about the TSA knowing you have a sex toy in your bag, maybe leave this one at home when you fly!

In use, this toy goes where no other toy I've had has gone before. Because of the flexibility and softness of this toy, positions like doggy style that have been uncomfortable or even painful for strap on play with other dildos, work perfectly with this toy. It's far more versatile than any dildo I've previously used. The head and veining aren't overly prominent to begin with. The soft material minimizes these textures so they won't bother even the most texture averse, but those who consider texture a vital feature may be disappointed. For us, this toy functions perfectly for strap on play. It is a softer version of 02 Mark which was previously our favorite harness toy but which we found a little on the large side for us, so this toy is nearly a perfect fit, although it's still just a little long in some positions.
Like our 02 Mark this toy works beautifully in our harnesses. We both have RodeoH harnesses and this dildo fits perfectly and the wide, thick base is very stable in the harness.

Silicone toys are compatible with water and oil-based lubricants. Like all Tantus silicone, this toy is sanitize-able in just about any way you might desire; boil, bleach, alcohol, dishwasher, or toy cleaner. There's no vibrating or otherwise motorized bits, so it's fully submersible. I prefer hot water and System Jo foaming toy cleaner, myself. It is, like most silicone, a total magnet for lint, fibers, fuzzies, dust, pet hair, and just about any other tiny particles you can imagine, but that's easily solved with a rinse. I recommend air drying to avoid towel lint, though. To be safe, I keep all my toys in their own pouches or baggies to prevent unpleasant material reactions, although silicone on silicone should, theoretically, be fine.

Typical of Tantus, the packaging is a clear, plastic box with a molded insert inside to hold the toy upright. Some basic info is on the outside of the box, but no instructions are provided. Packaging is minimal, and it's not discreet. Also, the packaging is probably not something you'll want to keep around.

I've never been able to successfully and comfortably accomplish doggy style strap-on sex until this toy. It's soft and flexible so it conforms easily to the position of the body and the size is not too imposing. The 02 Mark is a bit thick and definitely too long. The soft squish of this toy makes it feel a little smaller which makes it a perfect solution for us. Neither my girlfriend or I are historically fans of realistically styled toys. We made an exception for the 02 Mark but chose the black. I'm a little dismayed that this dildo only comes in "cocoa" which is a sort of neutral skin tone but after discovering how beautifully this toy works I'm willing to forgive the design and color.
