Lucky - realistic dildo discontinued by Happy Valley - review by ~LaUr3n~

To the date that I am writing this review, Lucky is the most realistic looking and feeling dildo I have experienced so far. It was one of those gorgeous cocks that I had lusted after for a really long time. But knowing that I am not huge on dongs alone, I figured the only reason I wanted it was because it bares a reasonable resemblance to my current partner. I couldn't justify the price for that. Until...it went on sale for half price. I got it in a frenzy thinking it was going to be discontinued. Get in a frenzy now! Lucky is an incredibly satisfying guy! I am really impressed with Happy Valley's dual density silicone (I didn't even know HV did dual density). If it weren't for being slightly sticky, this dildo would have both a real squeeze and brush against me feel. It's girthy and long, but not overly to the point that it cannot be conquered by the average woman. They also paid attention to detail by making Lucky have a soft head and soft balls. however, texture is something Lucky does not have a lot of. So, if that is something you require, you might want to look elsewhere. Lucky can be used for anal and or strap on play if you are up to the challenge of navigating his size.

The silicone Happy Valley chose for Lucky has a dual density design. The inner silicone core is former and smoother while the part that makes contact with the body it softer and more supple. Either way the silicone is non-porous, latex and phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic. The surface is a bit sticky feeling and does collect a lot of dust and hair. It's a nightmare if you drop it on a carpet. I don't normally powder silicone, but this surface totally changes if you do put a little bit of non-talc powder in a bag and throw the Lucky in there. It creates a much smoother skin-like surface. Because of the denser core, Lucky holds its bulk weight and doesn't flop around much at all. The material does not have any smell or taste either.

REALISM:
Lucky has something that all my lower priced dildos do not have, a dual density. It adds a totally different aspect of realism when inserted and held in the hand. The base is firm and so are the middle of balls. this denser material travels up into the shaft and ends before the head. It still flexes but has a realistic resistance to bending like a real erection would. To be more scientific, this imitates the two corpus cavernosum channels in an erect penis that fill with blood around the urethra.

As mentioned before, the core does not travel through the head. It seems to come to a rounded point in the middle of it. The head is very plush, a little too plush to be extremely realistic, but for a cock this size, I am glad it is not firmer. This does mean that it might not provide g-spot stimualtion, though.

It comes in two solid colors: beige and brown. I have the beige, although, it looks more like tan, darker than the EF product page pictures. The coloring is solid. There is no veining or darkening anywhere on Lucky. this aspect is not realistic, but I prefer it that way. I hate the site of veins!

Again, this is the most realistic dildo I own to date. It has a great curve, and bulges in all the right areas. I even dare to say that I like the balls! The size is on the larger size, but it isn't Goliath. Regardless, I would not recommend it as a first dildo unless you already know you can handle large members through first hand flesh experience. It will make you feel very full.

I would not be surprised if the original mold for this dildo was on a real penis with the fine details just smoothed over. It does not look like it was merely sculpted from imagination. It stands 7 1/2" tall when I straighten the dildo, but the cock itself is 6 3/4" long, a little less than 6 1/2" of that being insertable. The large head makes up 2" of that length. It is nicely pronounced in looks but melts into the shaft when inserted and is not felt much. It is 6" in circumference at the largest point, the base of the "mushroom". The underside of the head is nicely split (the frenulum) and there is a very defined meatus (the urethra hole).



Just under the base of the head, the shaft thickens. I love this detail because my partner's penis usually has this same feature too. The shaft's thickness varies slightly because of bulging, but it is around 5 3/4" at most places. The shaft is also not entirely symmetrical. Even the varicose vein bulge wavers a bit.



Where the base of the penis attaches to the balls is very realistic. There are veins or pulls of skin showing the weight of the balls. They are ovalish in shape and one is larger than the other. it also hangs lower too. It would be cool if the balls had movement so they could REALLY smack against you as you thrust Lucky in. Instead, they are part of the base. The base is flat and a very odd shape is it sticks out from the where the end of the shaft connects and goes around the balls.

This toy is clearly not discreet in anyway and is quite large making it hard to travel with.

When I said that Lucky is the most realistic dildo I have felt in feeling, I meant it. It totally is. It gives a very full feeling and glides with a bit of resistance and non-uniformity that a real penis has. By the way, I needed a lot of lubricant and it helped if I was already aroused. Sliding it is was a little painful at first. I felt a slight burning as I struggled to relax my vaginal walls to allow the dildo to enter me. This only lasted a mere moment, but it is worth noting. After that, it is pure bliss for me. It's not something that can finish me by itself, at least not yet, but it's a perfect pair with a clitoral vibrator. Sometimes when my partner is unavailable I want to simply get off for stress or boredom or whatever the reason. Other times, I really want HIM specifically and this dildo fills that need on a short term basis when he is not going to be around soon enough. It's the closest thing I have to him, even closer feeling than my real mold of him! The material and dual texture are the main prize points.

I do not feel specific g-spot stimulation with this dildo. I'm really surprised because of its size. There is a moderate amount of contact if I apply pressure correctly, but the head is simply too soft to really get me off that way. I don't mind all that much, though. I have to say that I am not a fan of the base for thrusting, it's big and cumbersome to hold.

Because the balls are larger than on other dildos I own, it is harder to fit into a harness. I don't own one that this fits well in, although, it can work. Don't expect it to fit into every harness. It also requires a large o-ring. the cool thing about Lucky is that he stands tall and erect even when against gravity in a harness.

Anally, I have not tried this toy as of yet. I imagine that it will provide an even fuller feeling in that area and might be a bit hard to insert due to the soft head, but I'll report on that in my follow up if it occurs. If you can take a size that large, Lucky looks like it would feel great used in the ass.

this dildo feels like smooth sailing, after you get it in. The very soft head can take a bit of steadiness and patience to insert. With practice, it got easier and easier. It was not enough to make me orgasm by itself, but I was able to achieve awesome orgasms with a bit of added clitoral stimulation.

Always give Lucky a rinse or wipe down before sue since he collects so much lint. Since it is silicone, make sure to only use water based or oil based lubricants. Lucky can be sterilized by boiling him in water for about 5 minutes. To make him even more realistic you can soak him in warm or hot water (not scalding though!) prior to use. He does a good job at retaining warm temperatures and keeping it that way. Otherwise, to clean it quickly you can just use hot water and soap. I have not noticed the material retaining smells as of yet. To store, place it in a bag to keep it away from lint and dust. Its shape and size make it a little difficult to shove in a box with other silicone toys.

As with all my previous Happy Valley products, it comes in a plastic bag with a piece of cardboard stapled to close it shut. There is not much information included at all.
